Show day hair diddd!!! Thank you @lonerowan.hair @yelhsasmith! Prep has a way of making you feel kinda….haggard sometimes being such low body fat. So it felt nice to get pampered and have some girl time🥹

If you’re in the Tampa Bay area looking for a new stylist Ashley is your girl!!!

Some people say they want an extraordinary life, but still try to live like everyone else.

You can’t expect uncommon results from common habits. Extraordinary goals require sacrifice, discipline, uncomfortable decisions, and a willingness to live differently than the average person.

A “normal” life will usually give you normal results.
But if you want more for yourself, you have to be willing to do more, risk more, and become more.

The life you want is on the other side of the standards you refuse to lower.

Maybe you see two tubs of braised chicken thighs, I see a bunch of possible meals.

I bought organic chicken thighs on sale and divided them up to make two braised dishes with different flavor profiles- one is a chicken thigh “tinga” with tomato sauce, oregano, chipotle in adobo sauce, onions, garlic and jalapeños- the other is a miso peanut chicken thigh that I got from @stealth_health_life that involves miso paste, peanut butter, rice wine vinegar and soy sauce.

Miso chicken + rice + cucumber /carrot salad
Miso chicken + noodles + red peppers + scallions
Miso chicken + roasted cauliflower + cucumber /carrot salad (lower carb option veggie stew)
Chicken Tinga + corn tortillas + beans + cheese
Chicken Tinga + roasted sweet potato + avocado + crema or yogurt
Chicken Tinga + beans + corn + lettuce + scallions + pico (lower carb option taco salad)

Having 2 flavorful options like this that have a nice ratio of protein: fat allows you to free up other possibilities. I rough chopped the chicken, threw the ingredients together into containers, and pressure cooked each batch for 25 minutes (hands off), weighed everything out, updated my recipes in Chronometer ( especially the cooked weights which can change from week to week) and all easy to log and go!

I like ingredient prepping like this a lot more than fully composed meal prep because it allows for more flexibility and pivoting if need be.

Lastly if you do not have a “ station de pump” in your home are you even alive??!!

Extensions aren’t always about glamour or vanity. Hair loss from stress, medications, postpartum and other endocrine issues can really impair our mental wellbeing. Extensions are a great tool that can really help boost our self-esteem and restore confidence to help our outside match our inner-self while hair is growing back. If you find yourself in this struggle, let’s chat and get you back on track to healthy hair you feel good in!

For booking, you can schedule a consultation online from the link in my bio, send me a DM or email ashley@lonerowancollective.com
