I thought today was a great day to throwback to our Hinterland “Honor Labor” Calendar shoot. Thanks to all the babes who helped make this happen. Y’all are so hot and rad and kind. Cheers, queers. And Happy Labor Day to all us working folks. 🍻 photos by the talented @filmbykait_ 📷

It’s always been my dream to do coffee & donuts at the brick and mortar shop but I am not fool-hearted enough to attempt both on my own. Because of that keen awareness of my own limitations I am bringing in the heavy hitters: my pals who treat food like art. Donnie is a chef and he & his partner Yella own @donanddansmarket 🌿 Both @yella1 and @dvizzini are well versed in the world of food and coffee. This Sunday on April 16th they’ll be at the Hinterland brick and mortar from 9am-3pm where Donnie will be offering two types of fried-to-order mini donuts. Your options for donuts on Sunday are 1.) Cinnamon sugar churro holes w/vanilla bean custard + blackberry jam & 2.) Brown butter glazed donut rings with bacon jam, spicy maple syrup, and flaky salt (these can be made vegetarian with no bacon). Donnie is offering 6 donuts per order at $10 or a half order of 3 donuts for $6. Just a word of warning: I am very into donuts so if you’re hoping to get your paws on some I would come early.

Cropped, embroidered and hemmed “You Can’t Spell Community Without Cunt” vintage polo ts will be restocked this week—they sold out before I could promote them or get them onto the website so we’re doing a bigger run this time. Keep an eye on the website or pop into the brick and mortar during shop hours: 9-3 Fri-Mon. 🤲

Dan and Don ❤️ Daniellea and Donny run a clothing popup in their garage in SE. It feels full circle to take these photos reminding myself of when I first met Daniellea at her brick and mortar @denimandgin on Fremont. We talked about doing a popup of sorts. Little did I know standing in that shop in 2019 that she would become such pivotal part of my life working at the Division cafe. What a treat it is to know people so talented and passionate and stylish as these two. And what an honor to watch every iteration of Denim and Gin evolve. Keep an eye out for more pop ups and some of the best donuts you may ever have.
