Reharvest was absolutely wonderful thanks to our community and these brilliant women in sustainability!

Thank you Memphis for joining us for an incredible night of food and fun at Crosstown Concourse! 10 PGF chefs brought their skill and creativity to the table making delicious “upcycled-eats”. Chef Mo of @biscuitsandjams901 came out as the Chopped winner with her savory beet soup 🫜. I’m a fan of beets cause of you!

Thank you chefs, food rescue organizations and sustainability partners for making it happen. We raised awareness (and capital) to help move our mission forward and the best part was, nothing went to waste.

Keep giving a fork, with Project Green Fork! Visit projectgreenfork.org @projectgreenfork x @clean_memphis

🙏🏾😩🎬 EYES OF GOD is officially selected for the 28th Indie Memphis Film Festival!!

Made this film here at home with the gang and damn near no budget just trying to make something real and true to what was in my head/heart. To see it keep finding new life almost 2 years later and now get the opportunity to screen it at Indie Memphis is gangsta 🖤 Appreciation to @indiememphis for selecting the film this year. 🙏🏾

BIG love to everybody that had a hand in making this film and everybody who showed up for it from the beginning. Y’all know how much I care about making art here and representing Memphis through the work so this is special. 🖤〽️

See y’all in November 🫡

💭 Thank you for tuning in to “food news” on @liveat9.tv with @kontji on @wreg3. It’s been a pleasure sharing my passion for food science in an educational and informative way. Huge shoutout to my colleagues @blackseedsurbanfarms x @republic_services x @rupkeheidi x @yellowbugyoga for bringing a wealth of knowledge (and good vibes) to the set.

Carpe Diem,
Ali

This is how we party at Clean Memphis. Giving away books! 📚 @clean_memphis

Ms Amber, Emma and Michelle (our Ed Director) led us through another incredible book party activity. Students were given as many books as they could hold including, Can I Play with My Food?” 😊📚

Check out how they upcycle magazine clippings into bracelets with superpowers. 💥🫱🏿‍🫲🏾

💭 They might just be the ones who save our planet 🌎 @yellowbugyoga

When others criticize Memphis, they fail to note that we are making headway in food rescue, recycling and environmental education ♻️. Our team from Clean Memphis recently toured the BDC Business Hub. @clean_memphis x @bdcmemphis

The BDC Business Hub actively and intentionally prepares employees for a living wage career. They recycle mattresses, styrofoam, streetlights and tires while providing on the job training development.

Our partners from Get Green Recycle Works recycle all recyclable materials from our PGF restaurants @projectgreenfork and Republic recycles for residents in the city. We have the resources to get you started.

It’s time to dispel the myths and be mindful of what we consume and what we discard. My two scents are that we End free returns and stop using styrofoam.

Let’s Give a Fork! 〽️💙
