3 words: Women in sustainability. 💚🌱

I really, really love my job. 🥹 I love getting to help Memphis become a little more sustainable, but even more than that, I love being surrounded by people who care deeply about making a difference.

Getting to celebrate the work of Clean Memphis and Project Green Fork and the impact we are making in our city is something I’m genuinely proud to be part of.

Life lately 🩶

Getting out more, trying new things (like my hair), traveling, teaching, doing more yoga, and remembering that I actually like having a life outside of my phone. 😂 I am learning that I’m actually good at being social; I just r e a l l y enjoy my alone time. Apparently I’m very much a “come hang out with me, but also please let me go home and do my own thing” kind of girl. 🫣🤷🏾‍♀️

I’ve also been putting more intention into my faith and finding community through a life group at church. I’ve had some things to walk through recently that were scary, and I’m grateful for God, my tribe, and perspective that helped me through it.

Junior League Super Saturday was such a good reminder that sometimes you have to put yourself out there for the things you’ve been praying for. I met so many amazing women, introduced myself first (which is a big deal for me 😂), and even made a few new friends.
I’ve prayed for a space where I can feel needed, make a difference outside of my career, and build meaningful friendships with women. And somehow, I ended up exactly where I was hoping to be.
So grateful this group found me. Here’s to a year of boots-on-the-ground work, service, friendship, and growth. 💚✨

This is how we party at Clean Memphis. Giving away books! 📚 @clean_memphis

Ms Amber, Emma and Michelle (our Ed Director) led us through another incredible book party activity. Students were given as many books as they could hold including, Can I Play with My Food?” 😊📚
