#heeki — idk what I did with the texts :( + I started this edit in August for @icyhooniez 's birthday but got busy :(

Sdt - ofc my one and only son @icyhooniez

HeeKi is the duo of Heeseung and Ni-Ki in ENHYPEN - the oldest and the youngest, which is why fans love them so much.Heeseung, born 2001, is ENHYPEN's main vocalist and the all-rounder ace who trained the longest, and Ni-Ki, born 2005, is the main dancer and maknae who is known as one of the best 4th gen dancers. Their dynamic is very mentor / younger brother. Heeseung was the one who looked after Ni-Ki the most during I-LAND when Ni-Ki was only 14 and away from home in Japan, teaching him vocals and giving him advice, and now Ni-Ki pushes Heeseung to be more powerful in dance.

On stage they have insane synergy because both are performance-focused - their fancams together, their duo challenges, and their dance breaks often go viral. Off stage they have a teasing but very soft bond, Heeseung is calm and takes care of him, Ni-Ki is clingy and openly says Heeseung is like a real older brother to him. Fans call it the HeeKi gap because of the 4-year age gap but very similar personalities when it comes to music and dance obsession.

Jake Sim was born in Seoul, South Korea, but moved to Brisbane, Australia, at the age of nine, where he grew up playing sports like soccer and violin. His life completely changed in 2019 when he decided to audition for Belift Lab in Seoul after being inspired by BTS, leading him to pack his bags and move back to South Korea alone to pursue his new dream. With only nine months of formal trainee experience under his belt, he entered the survival reality show I-LAND in 2020 as a relative novice compared to many of his peers. Throughout the intense competition, Jake quickly captured the hearts of viewers and producers alike with his rapid growth, undeniable charm, and fierce work ethic. He successfully secured a spot in the final lineup, finishing in third place and officially debuting as a member of ENHYPEN in November 2020.
