POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Back in May, we challenged everyone around the world to host impromptu meetups with the Spark 2nd Edition cards! Every single one of these started with deep conversations with strangers, and ended up being an epic day filled with adventures! 🔥

Canada Day Crafts & Cultural Potluck 🍁🎨

Feeling incredibly grateful to be surrounded by such kind, genuine people from so many different cultural backgrounds. Thank you all for sharing your favourite travel memories in Canada through art, collecting way too many free samples in the park 😆, surviving some surprisingly friendly UNO No Mercy battles, having heartfelt conversations about navigating life, and bringing such thoughtful home-cooked cultural dishes, snacks, and drinks to share. And somehow, on one of the hottest days of the summer, we still managed to stay cool with some very creative ice cream bar combinations. 😆🍦

Days like these remind me that some of life's richest experiences don't come from having everything in common. They come from showing up with curiosity, sharing pieces of our stories, and making space for one another. Different backgrounds, traditions, and perspectives don't divide us. They make the table bigger, the conversations deeper, and the memories even more meaningful. 😌💭

Here's to celebrating the people who make a place feel like home. 🍁✨

One of the things I love most about treetop trekking is how it brings you completely into the present. 🙂‍↕️

Your mind is focused on the next step, your balance, the sound of birds in the forest, and the friends beside you cheering you on through every wobble and obstacle. 🤗

And then there are the ziplines! ✨️ Those moments where you can take a deep breath, take in the view, and feel the wind rush past you. For a few seconds, you feel a little lighter, a little freer. Kind of like an unstoppable butterfly, carrying itself across vast distances to places it has never been before. 🦋💨

What inspired me most wasn't how high we climbed, but watching people face moments of genuine fear and choose courage anyway.
The shaky breaths. The "I'm really nervous." The "I don't know if I can do this." And in many cases, the "Why is this so wobbly?!" 😆

And then still taking the next step forward.

I think that's where growth lives...not in feeling fearless, but in discovering we're stronger than we thought. Step by step, platform by platform, we find ourselves reaching new heights, both literally and figuratively haha 🌲✨

I hope this continues to inspire you to keep moving forward when challenges come your way. You've got this. 🧠💪

Sweat, recover, celebrate 🫶

last week we linked up with @strong_littleitalyto and @rcvri_ca for an afternoon that had it all — pilates, a run through little italy, cold recovery, and a birthday worth celebrating 🎂

and somewhere in between we broke out @seek.discomfort Spark cards and asked each other the questions you didn’t know you needed to answer. turns out all it takes is the right question to unlock a whole new side of someone you thought you already knew 💬✨

This is exactly why we do this. new people, new spaces, same energy.

seek discomfort. always. 🏃‍♀️

Some moments stay with you longer than others.

A little over a month ago in El Salvador, we opened the first version of a shirt we created with @seek.discomfort Seek Discomfort. It was one of those full-circle moments, something that started as an idea becoming real, something we could wear while doing the work itself.

That shirt became part of a fundraiser supporting our projects. Afew weeks later, it came with us to Colombia.

During one of the first days of setting up water filters with @onethread.collective for a group of Wayuu women, that idea of “seeking discomfort” showed up in a way we didn’t expect. At the end of the day, the women handed over handmade mochilas, one by one, with the intention that they could help fund more filters for other families.

There was a moment where everything caught up at once, and there was no way to stay composed. What felt uncomfortable at first, being emotional and being seen like that, turned into something more.

We later learned that moment meant something to them too. That kind of openness, especially from a man, wasn’t something they were used to, and it carried weight in a way we hadn’t understood in the moment.

It became a reminder that “seeking discomfort” isn’t always about taking risks or doing something extreme. Sometimes it’s about being fully present, even when a moment asks more from you than you expected.

When we got back, we learned the fundraiser raised $750!! That’s about 15 families, around 75 people with access to clean drinking water.

We’re immensely grateful for everyone who supported this and stoked to share more from Colombia soon💙💙
