Global Moves Project Video Project 🌎

@globalmovesproject

This video is a small glimpse into the world we shared, created, and experienced together.

Looking back on these moments feels so special. From the rehearsals, the laughter, the challenges, the travel, the conversations, the dancing, and the training, this project became something so much bigger than dance alone.

It became a space for connection, exchange, growth, and community. A space where we could explore, share, feel safe, and be fully present in the moment together.

To every artist who was part of this project, thank you for bringing not only your incredible talent, but your heart, honesty, energy, and unique artistry into this space. Each of you brought something so special, and this project would not have been the same without you.

A huge thank you to our beautiful videographer @terrraforming for capturing these memories with so much care and intention, and for helping everyone feel so safe and supported throughout the process. It was an absolute privilege to collaborate with you on this concept and bring this idea to life together.

And to my amazing assistants, @shiho.ykym_ and @kyokakikuchi_malu , thank you for standing beside me and helping make this project possible. Your support, patience, care, and all the hard work you put into everyone behind the scenes meant more than words can say.

I feel so grateful that we got to create this together, and so proud of the community that continues to grow around @globalmovesproject

Thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey.

We hope you enjoy the video ✨

MUSIC FOR THE MASSES

There's so much good music being released all over the country right now, it's a blast to cover just a small segment of it through the AMRAP charts. Thanks again for tuning in!

We'll be back again next week with a fresh pair of Fave Fives, another trip Under the Covers (FKA Covers Corner) and all the hits you've come to know & love from 2000 to today.

If you need a hit between now and then, don't forget you can restream the show via hfm.radio and also check out prior shows and playlists. Get out there, support your local music scene and we'll see you next week! 📻

‘𝙋𝙞𝙚 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡’ 𝙞𝙨 𝙗𝙖𝙘𝙠
(send us a song or tell your friend)

Have your track mixed and learn how to release it, for free!
This year we’ll run things a little differently, 𝙨𝙤 𝙥𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙚 𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙙 𝙗𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙬 𝙗𝙚𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝙨𝙪𝙗𝙢𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜, but we’re still keen to help. Tom Iansek is living in London, Joanna Syme is on maternity leave, and Tom Fraser holding it down in Aus.

2024 - ??????
2022 - Mood Spill
2021 - Altai
2019 - Bec Sykes
2018 - Slow Turismo
2017 - Maple Glider

We’re back to give an artist a leg up. Over the past few years Pieater - myself (Tom.F), Joanna and Tom.I have learnt from the ground up. We’ve had some great fun, learnt from mistakes, and been guided by many generous people in our supportive music industry. We still have plenty to learn, but now it’s our chance to pass on what we can.

Send us your 𝙪𝙣𝙧𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙚𝙙, 𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙧𝙙𝙚𝙙 𝙨𝙤𝙣𝙜 (𝙥𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙚 𝙣𝙤 𝙙𝙚𝙢𝙤𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙮𝙚𝙖𝙧) to win remote time with Tom Iansek providing additional production, mixing and mastering the track. Plus business mentoring and release strategy with Tom F.

We feel that providing a safe, comfortable and inspiring creative community is important to the success of any artist, and we’d love to share a couple of days with you.
We encourage submissions from artists with a diversity of backgrounds and experience.

Email your song to hello@pieater.net and we’ll choose one artist/band/producer as the winner.
•Submit ONE song: streamable link to hello@pieater.net, tell us a little about yourself too.
•Deadline: Midnight November 30, 2024.
•Winner Announced: Mid December, 2024.

Much love & thanks for the support
Tom, Jo & Tom
