Mackyard ULTRA 24 - 2026

Big thank you to the legends at @mackyardevents for having us to the awesome 24 hour backyard event on Saturday night! What an incredible event with such awesome vibes. Amazing to put some of the boys to the test and hit 100km for the first time for some of these legends!

Shoutout @elyzabethmarsh @steve_kjar for crewing the entire event and keeping spirits so high throughout the night - we couldn’t have done it without you!

We’ll be back for another attempt and to enjoy the amazing vibes and support!

AJO BLANCO ☀️
• EP15 of #sophiemunchesnewmunch !! my great friend and supper club co host @gardeningsebastian taught me how to make the Spanish white gazpacho, Ajo Blanco!! it was so DELISH with almonds, grapes and garlic running through, and so fun to serve this to 50 guests as well at our spring supper last week!! here’s to the next!

munch close ups from our spring supper ! 🫜
• our menu was heavily influenced by Earth Day, celebrating all from the ground!

starting with our dipped herb butter radish inspired by @jillian.barreca, then our honey & walnut sourdough by @gardeningsebastian served with whipped honey butter, using @odysea_ltd honey 🍯

the starter was beets three ways, with roasted hasselback beetroot, beet cream cheese and pickled golden beets (my fav!!!) topped with a salsa verde with a kick! we then served a chilled ajoblanco, seb’s spanish travels coming out there!

the sharing mains was my wild garlic beanotto, a beany take on risotto, using the best @boldbeanco queen white beans !! followed by patatas bravas, sophie n seb style using more root veg, celeriac & potato, plus a spicy tomato sauce with basil mayo & aioli, charred courgette with romesco and pangrattato plus a watercress, pickled rhubarb and fennel salad!

to finish the menu I made one of my highly requested desserts I make private cheffing, pistachio & dark chocolate tart, finished with biscotti soil (we were v proud of that one!!) and edible violas to look like a flower patch 🫶

thank you again to @odysea_ltd and @boldbeanco for providing such wonderful ingredients along with all the other seasonal elements, it really felt like one of the best supper clubs yet!

spring supper club 💛💚
• what a TRIUMPH it was to cook for 50 of you on 24th April at @palm2deli, celebrating earth day with a seasonal, vegetable focused menu!

we were over the moon with how the evening went and it felt so special to cook together - despite what these pics suggest, we’re actually NOT related and it felt like a long time coming, cooking together since being pals at uni!

huge shoutout to @mermaidgin @lukas.bulika for curating the most delicious cocktails alongside our menu and to @odysea_ltd, @boldbeanco and @vincawine for supplying us with such amazing products, thank you so much!!

thank you to all that came and munched and also to our staff @foodforeats @sachacrowther @ollie.adams1 @poppypearce @megancalcutt @benedictdimond, we couldn’t have done it without you, also to @heartworkvisuals, you’re a master behind the camera, thank you so much for shooting the evening so perfectly x

• spring is here and so is our SPRING SUPPERCLUB! @gardeningsebastian and I are hosting our first supperclub together on Friday 24th April, after years of talking munch at uni…it’s finally happening!!! you could say the collab of all collabs ☀️

expect a night FULL of delicious vegetarian munch, collaborating with Seb’s love of the garden and my chef skills…it’s going to be the tastiest supperclub yet!

tickets and menu will be released Friday 27th March so set your alarms before they sell out!!

This year, our community crushed limits, smashed records, and then turned around to cheer on their fellow fundraisers.

From @yessebkey ‘s grit, to @_mitchhutch ’s endurance, @mimsinthewild ’s & @wild_rowe ’s resilience, and @annasleypark_1 breaking new ground; @trav_kerry and @kitbirks pushing through the toughest terrain, to @fatboysking redefining endurance, and @liskalicious achieving a goal 10 years in the making. Each story played a part in what made this year extraordinary and made an impact for causes THEY care about most.
