A few from wandering around Osaka. The Ferris wheel went way higher then expected 😩 the castle was beautiful and the creepy little shop we found at the end was exactly as expected inside, creepy 😂 (no pictures allowed inside and the giant life size statue of the devil was enough to have @yesyesmonorail clinging to me for life 😂) #Osaka #japan #Kansai #osakacastle #dotombori #goodtimes

Japan @yesyesmonorail [2020]

𝘚𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘣𝘦𝘥𝘳𝘰𝘰𝘮 𝘪𝘯 𝘚𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘢𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘭𝘦𝘧𝘵 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘑𝘢𝘱𝘢𝘯 𝘢 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘱𝘭𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘺𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘴 𝘣𝘢𝘤𝘬?

Yeah! My room in general.

𝘐𝘵 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘭𝘴 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘢 𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦 𝘢𝘨𝘰. 𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘥𝘪𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘰𝘭𝘥 𝘚𝘎 𝘳𝘰𝘰𝘮?

Because I enjoy collecting and receiving zines, sketches, band/event collateral and what not, I groomed that room to be mine. I lived in that room for 5 years, everything was easy then. I could be in my own space at my own time. Now I live abroad, it's a constant struggle. I thought I found peace, but there is always distraction from somewhere.

Portal 3: @yesyesmonorail

“A friendly housemate by day
Eggshell breaking illustrator before dawn.
Harumaruchi is often called Chi, born in Japan and raised in Singapore.
She draws comics about her daily life in the beautiful old capital called Kyoto.
As an interdisciplinary designer, Chi enjoys experimenting with printed media without the logic behind it.

In her free time, she is busy talking to people living abroad in Japan,
making ukulele sounds, hiking the small mountains of Kyoto and writing a blog about “home” on her tumblr, called cmfrtlvls.”

Chi’s works have a sort of slice-of-life charm coupled with a dark humor twist as she draws from personal experiences and the life around her. She shares a take on grief in her contribution to P0RTALS. Zine coming soon

Had a good time seeing art be made @yesyesmonorail and @nyorohas 's #nightparadeofdemons event in #kyoto, along with some chill music from @jjgjr

Was definitely a memorable experience with some nice photos to show for it.
