Let me reintroduce myself again 👋
Born in the peanuts town of Japan and raised in sunny, humid Singapore, I grew up surrounded by different cultures, stories, and personalities. Which shaped the way I create.

Besides illustration, pretty faces, and stickers, there are many other things I do too.

I did it again! This time at BAK Shinsaibashi! 🍺

The board was due for a refresh and was covered in old stickers, so instead of fighting them, I turned them into little beer bubbles.

With whatever POSCA colours they had in the shop (and a few minutes of brainstorming), I spent the evening scraping away old paint, cleaning the board, sketching, erasing, and drawing it all back together.

A lot of cleaning, a lot of creating.

Happy to have it finished by the evening. Thanks for the opportunity—I’ll definitely be back for the special guest beers. 🍻

また描かきました！今回はBAK 心斎橋店です🍺

古いステッカーがたくさん貼られていた看板をリニューアル。隠すのではなく、ビールの泡に変えてみました🫧

お店にあったPOSCAを使いながら、少しだけアイデアを考えて、あとはひたすら掃除して、描いて、また描いて…。

たくさん掃除して、たくさん作った夜でした。

Did some signboard art with whatever POSCA markers I had lying around for BAK Beer Brewery in Horie 🍺

It’s been a while since I drew on such a big board, so I was both excited and nervous. 🤩 I kept worrying about every letter and every stroke, which meant a lot of erasing, redrawing… and procrastinating.

I had to let go of trying to make it perfect and just whack the board.

The board now features their newest brew: Ox Day 26 Dark Ale, alongside their summer beer Kappa Boy Summer Ale, their opening hours, and a little note about what they do: making local beer in Osaka.

Sometimes making the first move is enough 💃

BAK 堀江店で、手元にあったPOSCAを使って看板を描かせていただきました🍺

こんなに大きな看板に描くのは久しぶりだったので、ワクワク、ドキドキする🤩

完璧を目指しすぎるのはやめて、「えいっ！」と思い切って描きました。

今回描いたのは、新作ビール「Ox Day 26 Dark Ale」、夏限定の「Kappa Boy Summer Ale」、です。

I got a stupid amount of brochures, packaging and little lose papers from my travels.
I give them a second life by turning them into silly senseless postcards with my own hands

Some have made their way into my pop-ups, others into your mailbox.

This is not your average wedding.
What? An abandoned dinosaur museum?
Yes, in the mountains of #japan 🦕⛰️
early summer, chaos and adventure
they somehow got everyone to get together 👯👯‍♀️
I tried to paint their energy instead of just their physical appearance.
no, they don’t necessarily like seagulls.
i just felt like this golden boy has seagull energy.
painted with the kind of colours the wedding felt like.
