Inspired by the growing wealth disparity and economic issues in the US, designer SJ Levin brings a sense of revolution to life with her five-look mini-collection, "Let Them Eat The Rich," . Created between 2018 and 2020, the project builds a sharp contrast between the lavish indulgence of Marie Antoinette and the raw edge of punk aesthetics. Levin pattern-drafted, constructed, and styled the entire collection using sustainable practices, sourcing 90% of materials from NYCโ€™s FabScrap, upcycled garments, and local small businesses.
