A distinctly warm and organic palette permeates Ledesma’s work, each moment slowly unfolding into an intimate aural experience. Inspirations from the everyday are distilled into sonic memories that invite a meditative and deep listening. ⚫︎ sm0hm @ess_mtsn sm0hm is the long-lost chiptune alias of Ess Mattisson, whose work include releases on 8bitpeoples, mp3death and Hexawe as well as design and development at Fors and Elektron. Ess conjures high tech sounds from low tech devices that refuse to be labeled obsolete, as they are relentlessly pushed further into the future. ⚫︎ Fifle @jonteprippz Fifle is the solo project of Malmö-based Swedish artist Jonatan Bergsman, exploring a space between hopeful dark ambient, dub and synthetic folklore. His debut release, Wagonslow, came out on Out of Order in 2026. Across the record, medieval tonalities, synth atmospheres and fragments of imagined folk music meet slow, processional percussion and skeletal dub. Fifle developed out of Bergsman’s broader involvement in the experimental electronic underground. He is also one half of the duo CYSP and founder of the Malmö-based community radio Retreat Radio. Tokyo-based composer, collage artist, organizer of MADPIA, and one of the original members of the experimental and dance music crew FLATTOP Even if we knew that tomorrow the world would go to pieces, we would still play music.”

. 深夜東京 #25 Morgan Garrett @morgangarrett ※This is an excerpt from '深夜東京 #25'. The full English and Japanese interview is available via the link in bio. ⸻ 1. Could you briefly introduce yourself? I’m morgan garrett. I live in Philadelphia, PA United States. I live and work in philadelphia. 3. Have you had a moment recently in Tokyo that made you think, “I really like this city”? It could be something small, a scene, a conversation, or just an ordinary moment. I loved how quiet the city was, even in the most busy and congested areas. It made me feel safe, which made me like Tokyo. I really liked Tokyo because i felt safe. Sometimes that feeling is fleeting. 4. Is there a place, street, or view in Tokyo that you feel particularly connected to? I’d love to hear why if there’s a story behind it. I loved visiting the Hatagaya neighborhood. I felt at home, it felt quiet and peaceful, but I was able to go to lots of hipster shops, and enjoy the parties and music nearby. I was able to rest in a nice hotel nearby, which I enjoyed very much. This is where me and my band stayed when we were on tour in Tokyo. I felt safe here. 11. If you had to describe Tokyo right now in one word, what would it be?  Safe ⸻ 1. Stories, memories, and personal moments from people who have crossed paths with Tokyo.

It’s been about three months since my last live show. I’ve been very busy with work this year, especially over the past few months, and unfortunately had to miss some shows and opportunities I was invited to. Thank you so much to everyone who kept in touch. From October, I’m hoping to slowly make more time for live shows, production, and my own music again. I’ve been a fan of Marionette for a long time, and some of their releases have had a real influence on my own music. So I was very happy when Ari, the label owner, reached out and invited me to play at this showcase. Really looking forward to playing again this weekend at Forestlimit! His sound moves between abstract ambient, spatial textures and more undefined states, where the familiar gradually becomes blurred and takes on a different form. Igor Dyachenko is an experimental sound artist, film composer and sound designer. His practice is shaped by the concept of “melted reality” — sound as a fluid and mutable form that interacts with the listener and their environment. His work has been released on Appendix.Files and Epic Room, and presented in films, galleries and various spatial contexts, including NTS Radio. . 深夜東京 #20 mui mui @mui____mui ※This is an excerpt from '深夜東京 #20. The full English and Japanese interview is available via the link in bio. ⸻ 1. Could you briefly introduce yourself? Hi, I’m Sam/Mui Mui and I’m an NYC based DJ, curator, and radio show host. 4. Was there a particular scene or moment in Tokyo that stayed with you? There were so many, but one of the most special moments in Tokyo was DJing at Spread with yolabmi, Vasya, etc. and seeing my parents in the haze of the fog machine, smiling proudly at me. It was their first time seeing me DJ and it meant a lot to me for them to be able to witness me doing something I really cherish and love.
I also loved all of the shared moments I had with my family eating delicious food and sipping highballs.  5. Is there a moment between late night and early morning that you still remember vividly? I remember walking around with my brother and sister in law after the Spread show, popping in and out of bars, walking around the streets of Shimokitazawa, in a drunken awe of the city. We had met a friend from San Francisco on the street and chatted with him for ages, taking silly photos, feeling like we were old friends. It was one of the nights that feel nostalgic before they’re even over.  10. If you had to describe Tokyo right now in one word, what would it be? Inimitable. ⸻ 1. Inimitable. Stories, memories, and personal moments from people who have crossed paths with Tokyo.
