KURS Radio + moomba-tsoomba in Tokyo: yolabmi (live) back in November 2025, the KURS Radio team, in collaboration with Vasya Saiko from moomba-tsoomba, went to explore new connections abroad and dive deep into the local experimental scene in Tokyo, Japan. we’re glad to present the recordings we made there, and the first one is a live performance by yolabmi. yolabmi is a Tokyo-based composer, collage artist, organizer of @madpia_____, and one of the original members of the Tokyo-based experimental and dance music crew «FLATTOP.» In 2018, yolabmi contributed the track «Surging Waves» to a compilation album by Berlin’s ambient/new-age labels VAAGNER. This marked the beginning of a steady stream of releases on labels outside their home country of Japan. In 2024, yolabmi launched their own event, MADPIA, guided by the theme: «Even if we knew that tomorrow the world would go to pieces, we would still play music.» The event seeks to deepen connections through music and art as universal languages, fostering a shared sense of community and presenting fresh musical experiences that transcend genres and borders. watch the full video on our YouTube сhannel. camera / DOP: @hugowakui by @yolabmi

His sound moves between abstract ambient, spatial textures and more undefined states, where the familiar gradually becomes blurred and takes on a different form. Igor Dyachenko is an experimental sound artist, film composer and sound designer. His practice is shaped by the concept of “melted reality” — sound as a fluid and mutable form that interacts with the listener and their environment. His work has been released on Appendix.Files and Epic Room, and presented in films, galleries and various spatial contexts, including NTS Radio. Drawing on a deep sensitivity to rhythm, frequency, and emotion, she creates immersive works that bridge movement and sound. In Taiwan, she is active within the underground scene, performing at venues such as Final and various guerrilla-style parties, and has shared the stage with artists like Iglooghost, KAVARI, and Goth trad. Her practice and artistic trajectory have also been covered by Mixmag Asia and Sabukaru Online. With a near-obsessive precision in EQ sculpting, she resists genre constraints, blending diverse sonic elements into new forms of sound design.
