What a wonderful gift yesterday was. We make the trip up Burton probably every few months and I’ve never noticed passing Yonah yoga until Friday.Decided to look up the schedule and on it was a three hour complete practice scheduled. I just knew I had to sign up and I don’t regret it. I’m a firm believer yoga should be more than an hour but you can rarely find someone who is willing to guide you that long. That is one of the many reasons I love #universalyoga. There is something very special about being in a room with someone who is truly in love with what they do. Thank you @mindfulilii for sharing your practice with us. What a beautiful studio @yonahyoga . There were so many things that showed us we were right where we were supposed to be. Loved that our hands on assist cards were exactly what Cole and I have been working on individually. 💕💕💕

❤️ a Complete Practice love note, to you from me ❤️

Our time together will also be an opportunity to refine and perhaps experience your asana practice through a slightly different lens. I offer techniques and postures from a few different lineages and we’ll spend those 90min of movement exploring, and perhaps breaking down, some of these techniques. 🤸

There’s still time to join us.

Sunday begins a 6-week journey exploring nervous system regulation through the practices of pranayama, movement & awareness.

We often wait until life feels overwhelming to look for calm.

But resilience is something we cultivate.

One breath.
One practice.
One moment at a time.

If you’ve been considering this series, we’d love to welcome you.

Sharing time from Michelle:

Over the last several years, I’ve done a lot of work with Cooper.

At first, I think I came looking for answers: relief, understanding, maybe even a way to fix what felt broken.

What I’ve discovered instead is something much different.

A remembering.

A remembering of who I am beneath all the labels.

Business owner.
Wife.
Mom.
Daughter.
Helper.
Caretaker.

The list goes on and on.

Those roles matter, but they aren’t who I am.

Somewhere along the way, through breath, awareness, curiosity, laughter, tears and countless conversations, I’ve begun remembering the parts of me that existed before all of those labels.

The parts that are still there. The parts that feel like home.

As I reflect on our recent Scotland adventure and all the joy, connection and memories we experienced, I can’t help but see how much I’ve grown over these past several years.

Not because I’ve become someone different, but because I’ve become more myself.

If you’ve been curious about Cooper’s upcoming 6-week Nervous System Regulation & Pranayama Series, beginning June 28 at Yonah Yoga, I can only share my own experience:

The journey back to yourself is worth taking. 💜
