The theme is…FUNK IT! 🎸🧡🛼🎙️📀 ✩♬₊˚. Come dance to tunes by @wsab_official, a local neo soul + contemporary R&B band, and @totallytendani, a local queer Black femme vocalist, songwriter, and musician.

We are saying NO to vendor fees for BIPOC creatives in Tampa Bay! Indigenous people should not have to PAY to sell goods on STOLEN land.
Black artists deserve reparations, NOT to be charged exorbitant vendor fees.

Break out of your perfectionism and come junk journal with us on Thursday, 8/15 ★ 7-9PM! Collect found objects throughout the next couple of weeks (receipts, tickets, photos, notes, etc.) and bring them to the nest for a junk journaling meetup! 💌🌟🧾✂️We’ll have paper and canvases for folks who don’t have journals or sketchbooks.

Junk journaling is a creative process that involves collaging found and recycled materials. These pages can then be used for painting, drawing, writing, or scrapbooking. This is an opportunity to get a bit messy and express yourself without shame! ✧･ﾟ: *✧･ﾟ:*

Junk journaling requires us to slow down and be mindful of our surroundings. It gives us the opportunity to preserve things that would have otherwise been discarded or forgotten.
