all the art that i have created in 2023: recap of the canvases & medias i’ve used and created throughout the months.

my first market was november of 2022, and i remember setting up the most ludicrous tent in the rain and scramming to chase my prints after the wind would blow it away.

i have learned so much this year from hand building ceramics, sewing, printmaking, i had known about none of these things previously. now i get to create w these means and show others! i am excited to move forward into 2024 w. new ambitions and ideas with all the same people and more!

THANK U THANK U THANK U to all my incredibles friends for supporting my work!! the @queerexpressionstpete fundraiser was such a success!! the entire reason i started making clothing was because of how difficult it was to find clothing that i was comfortable with - paying lots of attention to fit, type of cloth, and making gender neutral designs. gender-affirming clothing empowers this freedom of expression and thats the vision i want to continue to create!

made this collage piece echoing the love that i am feeling right now - for friends, art, and community !

small sentiments include fishies that remind me of the loveliness of sharing food w others, the butterflies i saw at the springs while friends plunge into cold waters, and the symphony of pure, unadulterated joy i can still hear from afar by @yookarttt

got to work on some limited edition cyanotype shirts this past weekend & they sold at the @grrrlsnight show - really enjoyed this process and hoping to make more cyano works soon! by @yookarttt

“encaged” is one of two editions, linoleum printed on 11 x 15 somerset soft white paper. one of the most grueling projects to date with around 30 proofs and test prints but also the most rewarding!

final result came out very clean, i really love the border chain and play with the disconnect of foreground and back within :) by @yookarttt
