York Roast Company 🌯

When in York it would be rude not to revisit the York Roast Co.

I had my usual, maybe boring, but my go to is always the Turkey Wrap. BUT! What I think I would prefer, instead of the roasted veg which consisted of green beans and carrot would be a couple of smashed roasted potatoes 😍😍
Simply, gravy soaked turkey meat with some stuffing and a couple of smashed roast potatoes inside a Yorkshire pudding, carb overloading 🤤.

Maybe next time! 😉🤞🏻🙏🏻

So it’s time for my roundup of September! I don’t think I’ll have a quiet month this year 😂

I’ve yet again this been to opposite ends of the UK starting off in Scilly and ending in Scotland for Katie’s wedding, we shared the driving both times which has been daunting! We celebrated our third wedding anniversary and also watched the Odyssey in the cinema. Finally I also spent some time at home meaning I was able to catch up on housework, finish off reading my book and relaxing with our insane tuxie girls!

Most played song was Heather on the Hill - Nathan Evans 🎶

1. Felt so pretty in this picture! 💕 I had such a lovely time being a bridesmaid at Katie and Angus’ wedding and the highland cows were super freaking cute (I may have got waaay too many photos with them 😂). I also felt really pretty in this photo 😂

2. When we’re in Scilly we always head to Harry’s Walls one last time before we leave as they’re Will’s favourite place on the islands 🌊🩵

3. After coming back from Scilly Cleo has been extra soppy and has been curling up on my chest and snuggling into me (also note the Twilight pyjamas) 🐾🖤

4. Visiting Yorkshire Wildlife Park on our wedding anniversary utterly exhausted but it was fun trying to spot Brodie (who was on his holidays there from the Highland Wildlife Park) 🐻‍❄️

5. Cleo being super cute and autumnal 🧡

6. Witnessing a beautiful misty sunrise from the train on the way to York and the archiving conference 📦

7. Favourite photo of me and the stunningly beautiful Katie on her wedding day 🤍

8. The heather on St Martins around the Daymark looking very autumnal after being burnt by the sun all summer! 🍂🧡

9. Had a couple of rest stops on the way to Scotland and back and we stopped at Gretna Green - their loos are themed which is slightly strange 😂💍

10. One of the delightful ghostly figures of York on the medieval walls 👻

11. Having fun in the Scottish Highlands 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

12. Celebrating our third wedding anniversary by watching Shrek 2 💚

13. Heather has found a new favourite spot, she loves lying here when all purry, rolling around and tries to close the door… I don’t

Day 11 of Belfast to Bali without flying! First stop of the day was a portion of Hadrian's Wall, then a short drive to Penrith before our final destination York!

If you ever find yourself in York, please do yourself a favour and go to @theyorkroastco

Yesterday myself and my Daughter took a day trip to York.

We went to eat at the York Roast Co.
I have seen so many videos online about this place, and I definitely had to try it.
I went for the turkey Yorkshire pudding wrap, my daughter went for the beef.
We both absolutely loved it, we will definitely go back one day and would highly recommend it to others.

I’ve come to York and of course I’ve just had to have the famous and ORIGINAL and the best Yorkshire Pudding Wrap with turkey & cranberry from @theyorkroastco .
I absolutely love this place so much.
