We teamed up with Melitta to create a brand and packaging world that makes everyday SPF feel easy. Taking inspiration from the ancient sundial, we brought time, science and the sun together in a distinctive visual language.

In Australia, two in three people will develop skin cancer. That’s not a statistic. That’s a call to arms. ☀️ @evilrayspf was built around exactly that urgency a sunscreen brand that calls the sun out for what it is and reframes protection as an everyday act of survival. @seachange.studio collaborated with @pembleton_clubhouse to build a brand identity and packaging design system as bold and category-defying as the brief demanded. Custom forms inspired by potion bottles. Black tombstone labels finished with ultraviolet, UV-reactive inks that create real-time exposure warnings on skin. Seriously sick illustrations and animation by @julianmfrost that bring the brand’s villain to life. Product photography by @youkista that makes every bottle look like it means business. A sunscreen brand that turns the whole category upside down. I quit my desk job last year, and decided to see if my hobby of photography could be a potential career. I had no idea what I was doing, but with the help of a lot of people, I’ve managed to find my footing. Seachange (@seachange.studio) was awarded a Distinction in the 2025 AGDA Awards under the Brand and Identity category for Bugg, a modern gardening brand. Seachange writes: ”In a category defined by clichés — think masculine aesthetics, clunky tools and clip art inspired packaging — Bugg saw a gap. Gardening, for many, is not a weekend chore. It’s a way of life. An emotional, often obsessive connection to the outdoors, soil, and growth. We named the brand Bugg — a playful word that speaks to the gardening bug, evokes the world of insects found in all gardens, and suggests something memorable and trademarkable. The Bugg identity mixes visual restraint with strategic oddity. Every design element was chosen to break from category norms, while remaining tactile and grounded in the garden.” More fresh perspectives to be dug up on the AGDA website.

To reflect Koko Body’s reimagined quiet, luxurious sense of calm, our design had to work harder. A word-mark with breathing room reflects the rhythm of inhale and exhale, whilst sun-baked tones and soft textures ground the brand in nature and tactile finishes invite touch and ritual. This feeling, paired with sensuous and strong, hand-drawn illustrations capture the balance between modernity and humanity.
