Todays the last day of Pride Month but here at Team Operacrap we have pride year round. If you have any stories about your Pride you’d like to share - comment or tag us in a story.

Over the years the rainbow has been closely associated with LGBTQIA pride movements, activism, and is more than just aesthetics. However TOC just happened to have the exact number of members as the original ROYGBIV rainbow and wanted to have a little fun with it. The “original” pride flag was created and sewn by Gilbert Baker in 1978 had 6 colors Red (life), Orange (healing), Yellow (sunlight), Green (nature), Blue (serenity), Purple (spirit). The pride flag has evolved over the years and and in 2019 has adapted its most recent version including Black and Brown representing people of color in the queer community as well as Light Blue, Pink, and White to represent transgender people within the community.

One thing that’s so special about the scoundrel community in particular is there’s a lot of inclusivity which can be hard to find. Being kind is punk as fuck, after all. You can always seem to find a good pal to have a chat with and find common ground with. That’s the beautiful thing about humanity and life is that we’re all more alike than we know.

We are the frogs, the freaks, the dancers, the rainbow chasers, the dissociatives, the modernists, those who have been silenced but choose to talk, those who won’t give up on their dreams, and those reclaiming their heart, art, and truth.

Whether you’re in the alphabet mafia or a supporting ally we love ya!

For context to those who may not be aware: There are a whole bunch of internet scammers out there that target followers of verified accounts and my girls at @teamoperacrap and I like to give them shit. I usually block them instantly, because they are insufferably fucking annoying, but this morning I was in a shit stirring mood.

We have been dealing with these people for a while. They have even started photoshopping shit, as you can see here with the “conversation between Dan and his personal assistant”. (Really? Come on!)

Be wary of these clowns and stay safe.

Hello scoundrel! Welcome to Dan’s birthday / FutureNever release party planning committee. As you all know Dan is going to celebrate his birthday🎂on the 22nd of April on the same day he releases #FutureNever 🚀, the album we’ve been all waiting for ages. If you are here it’s because you have been invited to part take in the creation of a special gift that us fans want to deliver to him on that special day. While we are still figuring out the details, we decided to create this page to start rallying the troops so that we can reach and communicate with you leading up to the day. While we have a few things in mind, we are open to ideas so feel free to share in comments. We can all brainstorm together. And in the meantime stay tuned, more info to come in the upcoming days! 💜💙
