It’s time for our weekly dose of G-Town Quizzo 🤸🏽 But this week, we’re taking it to the streets! 👟

This week, we wanna know what are Germantown’s boundaries, north and south, using Germantown Ave?

Five folks got put to the test last week to see if they know. But did they know??? 👀

Think you know Germantown the best? Find out later this month on Friday, October 30 when we host our FOURTH ANNUAL Germantown Quizzo! 🥳

It all goes down at Our House Culture Center (6380 Germantown Ave.) from 7–10 p.m. We’ll provide the food, questions, and prizes, you bring your own bottles and the vibes!

Assemble your best team and come play with us. We promise not to make the questions too spooky! 👻

Draw and paint from the Wyck House’s decorative arts collection/ naturalist specimens, grounds and garden! . Using a sketchbook provided, we will observe and draw in each session, surveying a selection of animal, plant and mineral specimens. As we look and draw, we will learn about their history in the collection, the characteristics of the specimen itself and develop an artistic toolkit of drawing, coloring, and visual-note-taking. We will meet daily in the ed shed studio, making excursions to the garden and house throughout the sessions.

Rosé and Roses event May 28, 2026 at the WyckHouse, Garden and Farm in Germantown.

Pictures of friends on 35mm film, made from the first camera I ever owned, a canon ae-1. Manual focus 50mm lens. A gift from my father RIP, when I was 12.

Thank you for a beautiful event @youngfriendsofwyck and to my dear friend @reeseflorencecoran for sharing her magic.

A little highlight post from the last week or so. Images made with this little plastic camera I recently acquired. Visited Montreal for the first time, solo exploration by bike. Devoured 1/2 dozen incredible bagels during the roadtrip back to the states. Enjoyed the beautiful Wissahickon park, and music with dear friends at the Wyck house.

Wishing my friends a wonderful weekend💕

“There’s nothing to do in Germantown.” WHO SAID THAT? 👀 Just say you’re not outside!

And if you think this list is full, there’s ALWAYS more to come — especially this spring & summer. Engagement season is heating up and we’re officially defrosted.

Don’t be a fool. Germantown’s waitin’ for you. Us too. ❤️ Check out our website for upcoming events (link in bio).
