Black Music Month 2026 has officially come to a close. To send it off properly, let’s throw it back to last year’s BMM listening party powered by @sook.vinyl !!

Black Music Month was founded in the late 70s here in Philadelphia and Sook is the only Black-owned vinyl shop in the city, so this pairing was the perfect way to celebrate the sonic legacy of our city’s Black residents.

Be sure to stop by Sook Vinyl for the best collection of vinyls, literature, and memorabilia!! taken in Wyck Historic House, Garden, and Farm by @youngfriendsofwyck

Happy Women’s History Month!

Join Young Friends of Wyck for our March pop-up as we celebrate the women in business at Maplewood Mall. From sweet treats to fashion, self-care to childcare, Maplewood has it all and they are largely owned by women.

Come shop til you drop, enjoy delicious foods, and mingle with near neighbors. Shops will be offering specials that you won’t want to miss.

The crawl is ‘choose your own adventure’ style, but there will be a scavenger hunt, so come ready to strategize.

See you at the mall!

Big thank you to @maplewoodcollective @dgriot.philly and @germantowncdc ! by @youngfriendsofwyck
