💙 We are looking for a child with Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD), together with their parent or caregiver, to take part in an upcoming Health Education webinar.

The aim is to give families an opportunity to share their lived experience of DCD — helping others better understand the everyday challenges, strengths and experiences of children with DCD.

By sharing your story, you can help:
• Raise awareness and understanding of DCD
• Give a voice to children and families with lived experience
• Support parents, educators and healthcare professionals to better understand DCD
• Help other families feel seen, understood and supported

The child would be interviewed alongside their parent or caregiver in a supportive and respectful setting.

📩 Interested in participating or would like more information?

Please send us a direct message.

Please feel free to share this post with families who may be interested. 💙

What a valuable morning at the DHRS Research Day 2026! ✨

Such a wonderful opportunity to listen, learn and engage with the incredible research happening across the department. It was inspiring to hear the different perspectives, connect with colleagues and be reminded of how research continues to shape and strengthen the work we do.

A morning filled with learning, reflection and plenty of inspiration! 💙📚

Feeling incredibly grateful to have had the opportunity to present at the @sasp_physio National Symposium 2026 at @birchwoodhotel in Johannesburg. 💙✨

It was such a special experience to share our work, connect with fellow Physiotherapists, exchange ideas and learn from the incredible work being done throughout the county 🇿🇦

Being able to represent and share the journey of Developmental Coordination Disorder South Africa (DCDSA) - a growing platform dedicated to increasing awareness, education and advocacy around DCD within South Africa was the highlight of the weekend. Seeing the interest, questions and conversations sparked around DCD was both encouraging and exciting, and a reminder of just how much potential there is to grow awareness and support for children and families affected by this condition 🩵

We leave the symposium feeling proud, inspired and hopeful and excited for the growth of DCDSA, future collaborations, new opportunities and the many possibilities ahead in Paediatric Physiotherapy, research and advocacy. 🌱

So grateful for every conversation, every word of encouragement and every opportunity to share, learn and grow. 💙
