POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Our latest spot for Austrian Post, built and shot in Bratislava together with our friends at @ppmnext_film

There was quite a lot happening outside the final 25 seconds. At one point our studio was basically equal parts construction site, rehearsal room and a very elaborate exercise in getting everyone to be in the right place at the right time.

One of those lovely reminders that everyone might have their own department, but the good stuff happens somewhere in between📯

The invisible sound guys — the ones who are usually the quietest on set, yet we’re sure they could write a whole book about stories they accidentally heard when someone forgot they were wired… or simply that the mic was already live.

And sound in commercials is a whole different game — half the time we don’t even need a boom op, because most of the lines end up as voiceover anyway… and then suddenly we do.

Like on our last job… We planned everything for VO, booked a super-silent genny, ran the lines with talents at least six times and still somehow forgot to book a boom op.

Thankfully Jarko stepped in and saved the day without a single mistake. Precise, organised, calm, asks the right questions and never the useless ones. We love a “one call is enough” crew member.

Jarko is exactly that! Just quietly doing everything right, with the softest attitude and the best vibes.
Thank youuuu and we promise you’ll be on the first call next time!

shoutout to Jarko the sound mixer 🩵❤️
