POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

This account started as a fun little side quest with absolutely zero expectations. No strategy or posting schedule.

And yet somehow, every few weeks, we become extremely passionate about planning content. The two months of silence really proof that, huh?

Because every time we go back into our camera rolls to find all the amazing content we planned to make, it’s just:
• walkie talkies & cables
• petty cash for runners
• 847 outfit fitting photos
• production schedules
• and documentation of literally everything except our planned influencer activities

Turns out our actual jobs keep interrupting our fake influencer careers.

Welcome to Realness Radio 📻
where the plans are aesthetic but the camera roll is production reality.

Thanks @thevisionphotos for your photos of us actually working and @nocap___collective for letting us use these for our duo’s little side quest🫰🏽 by @yourfaveduoonset

The invisible sound guys — the ones who are usually the quietest on set, yet we’re sure they could write a whole book about stories they accidentally heard when someone forgot they were wired… or simply that the mic was already live.

And sound in commercials is a whole different game — half the time we don’t even need a boom op, because most of the lines end up as voiceover anyway… and then suddenly we do.

Like on our last job… We planned everything for VO, booked a super-silent genny, ran the lines with talents at least six times and still somehow forgot to book a boom op.

Thankfully Jarko stepped in and saved the day without a single mistake. Precise, organised, calm, asks the right questions and never the useless ones. We love a “one call is enough” crew member.

Jarko is exactly that! Just quietly doing everything right, with the softest attitude and the best vibes.
Thank youuuu and we promise you’ll be on the first call next time!

shoutout to Jarko the sound mixer 🩵❤️

women on set are a special kind of powerhouse.

not loud for the sake of it, but steady. precise.
relentless in the quiet ways that make everything work.

women who direct the vision.
who run the floor.
who bring the story to life.
who hold the boom, light the scene, style the frame, design the world.
who build the set, place the props, open the locations, drive the truck.

women who organise the impossible, fix what breaks, keep the crew fed, keep the day moving —
and are still there when the last light goes out.

and even after — cutting the edit, colouring the image, designing the vfx, composing the music, finishing the film.

a soft powerhouse.

strength with empathy.
leadership with care.

today we celebrate the women who make this industry better.

sometimes vílas.
sometimes divas.
always capable.

happy women’s day ❤️🩵 by @yourfaveduoonset
