Well I guess Indie Sleaze is cool again? I might’ve had a small part in that. 😅

“Secks Prone (2009 Version)” was recorded when I was 21 and somehow pulled around 40,464 views on YouTube before I took it down years ago because I was terrified it would become the only song anyone ever knew me for.

Now there’s enough music behind it that I’m not too worried about that anymore.

It’s loud, vulgar, ridiculous, a little reckless, and very much from another era.

Out today.

The Ruffle in the Leaves: Live at Silvana
Recorded live in Harlem on Father’s Day while the World Cup was happening, somebody outside was competing with the set through an open door, and I somehow ended up with a $230 parking ticket.

Check it out before AI learns how to copy something this raw. Out now.

Special Thanks 👉 @silvanaharlem

“Through the Noise: Live at The Delancey”

A five-song live EP from my first show in four years.

It’s not perfect. It’s not polished. It’s a night in New York.

After releasing 5 hours and 26 minutes of music, it felt like time to put something live into the world.

Out now on all Streaming Platforms. Link in bio.

covers.ii. is out now.

The photo was taken on my 2022 trip to Italy near the Bridge of Sighs, which felt right for a release built around the contrast between external beauty and caged internal struggle.

“Me and the Moon” by Something Corporate
“Privately Owned Spiral Galaxy” by Crywank
“I See Everything” by La Dispute

Part two in the series. And yeah… these three take things a bit deeper and heavier than I’m used to. I wanted to explore that space and see what it felt like.

Very interested to see how they’re interpreted.

As always, thanks for listening.

In case I forget to tell you, I’m having a really good time.

My new album comes out today.

This one has been living with me for a while: apartment recordings, strange little ideas, piano songs, guitar songs, jokes hiding inside serious things, and serious things pretending to be jokes.

It feels weird and good to finally hand it over.

Needed, but not held.
Responsible, but unseen.
Capable, but alone with their “Interior Noise.”
Hunger for meaning in a system that rarely feeds it.

“Your Favorite Play” the album is out now on all streaming services! Check it out.

About the album: Recorded in six days, this mixture of unique songs comes together on YFP’s third album release to date. I guess a self titled album is typically an appropriate title for a project saying, “idk what’s next dude. Here’s something, I guess? Hope it works out.” The album comes in at 27 minutes and has 10 total tracks. Is it a masterpiece? Is it total garbage? Is it mid AF? If anything, I think it’s entertaining, to say the least…

Some production errors, a voice crack, and two references about cigarettes (repetition 🤦‍♂️), maybe this DIY album will deter the right kind of people while retaining those who enjoyed YFP’s raw authenticity and imagination from the start.

Here goes nothing. Cheers 🍻🙃🎶
