Don’t do it!
You don’t have to exfoliate every day. And, if you have sensitive skin, avoid harsh exfoliating acids, like glycolic acid.

📌 2021 Beauty Favorites Day 6: Face Brushes

Brushes make all the difference in the final makeup look, so I think it's fair to include them in my '2021 Beauty Faves' series 😊

🖌️ IT cosmetics #7
It is one of the very few double ended brushes that I actually like.
The bigger side works well with liquid foundations and the smaller side is good for blending eye concealer or eye base

🖌️ Sonia G jumbo base
This is another one of my favorite brushes for liquid foundations.
I couldn't choose the fave between the 2 brushes.
It doesn't leave strokes and makes my foundation look skin-like

🖌️ Rephr #4
I love to use this brush for applying powder bronzer.
I do not like to overbronze myself because it makes me look unnatural due to the fact that I am very fair. This brush, thanks to its angled shape, somehow gives me control of the application

🖌️ Sonia G mini base
This is THE perfect cream bronzer brush of them all ! It really is a game changer brush in my collection and I think everyone needs to try this. It's a perfection !

🖌️ Smashbox buildable cheek brush
Similar to rephr #4 this brush also has an angled shape and It applies powder blush very nicely.
I like to build up my blush rather than to try to tone it down, and I think the airiness of the brush helps me achieve this

🖌️ Wayne goss #14
I love using this brush for applying powder blush on the apples of my cheeks. If I need to blend the blush, I usually use my wayne goss brush ( if it's clean 🙈😁)

📌2021 Beauty Favorites Day 5: Shampoo & Mask

In 2021 I focused on restoring my fairly damaged, color-treated hair : I tried to avoid using a flat iron, switched to dying only my roots versus entire hair (which I've been doing till 2021) and tried various hair masks to help my hair.
Although I liked several brands, in the '2021 favorites' post I try to narrow down my choices to 1 if possible. As a result, I decided to choose this combo:

@oribe beautiful color masque and shampoo

I love how soft my hair feels after using this shampoo and mask. I know Oribe is a bit pricey, but I think the quality of their products is great.

📌2021 Beauty Favourites Day 4: Bodycare

I continue my '2021 beauty favorites' series with some body care, more specifically body creams.

@soldejaneiro body creams

This year I've been loving #soldejaneiro body cream assortments. My favorite one in terms of smell is 'coco cabana cream', but they all smell delicious and feel good on my skin 🤎

Have you tried any of these ? 😊

📌2021 Beauty Favourites Day 2: SPF

Needless to say that if you don't use a sunscreen every single day, you are just wasting your money on your skincare: It won't work

💙 @colorescience sunforgettable face shield spf 50 (Classic)

Having said that, it's not easy to find the right SPF: no white cast, no greasy feeling, works well under the makeup, etc.
I am very happy that I found this SPF.
* Spf 50, PA ++++
* Mineral sunscreen
* Water resistant for 40 minutes
* No white cast (on me)

I feel like it primes my face and blurs it a bit as well. It works perfectly under the makeup.

I have tried lots of sunscreens and this one remains my number 1

💙 @colorescience total eye 3-in-1 renewal therapy (shade: Fair)

* Brightens the eye
* Hydrates
* Protects from sun damage

After being very happy with my facial SPF, I decided to try this product as well.
Generally, I dislike 99% of the undereye concealers: they either crease on me, or make me look ghostly, or feel heavy, so I often just skip it.
This product is a complete opposite: it does not crease at all, feels very comfortable under my eyes. Mine has a slight peachy undertone so it pairs very well with my endereye area.

📌2021 Beauty Favourites Day 1: Toner / Essence

I decided to start my #beautypicks with some #skincare

🧴 The essence by @tatcha

I live in Europe, so I usually buy things that are available in the EU, but there are certain products (unfortunately not available in the EU ) that I do not hesitate to order from the USA and pay extra taxes. The essence is one of those products. I am obsessed with it. I feel like my skincare works better after I prep my skin with 'the essence'.
I know it's a pricey product, but for me it is #worththesplurge 💚

#2019beautystars Face Mists. I’ve tried some face mists but this one was def my favourite:
.
⭐️ @keepcool_global Soothe Mist. It’s very fresh, soothing and hydrating and I love to use it on extreme situations: cold, hot, dry.. situations where my skin could potentially suffer a lot. Planes are my favourite place to use it.
.
⭐️ Last Monday at the airport I got the @myclarinsofficial face mist that I’m loving but it’s too soon to picture it here 😊
.
What are your favourite mists?

Happy Wednesday insta friends! Today’s #2019beautystars posts is about eye primers. I’ve only tried this one and I like it because I do notice a difference the days when I forget to apply it.
.
⭐️ It’s the @etudehouseofficial Proof 10 Eye Primer.
.
🎄 Guys, don’t forget that I’m hosting a Christmas giveaway so look for the original post to enter!

#2019beautystars Day 6 is about primers! And I may be a makeup noob, but I know that a good primer makes all the difference. These two are my favourite so far:
.
✨ @vdl_cosmetics Lumilayer Primer. It gives a subtle iridiscent glow to the skin that I quiet like
✨ @innisfreeofficial No Sebum blur primer. This primer softens and mattifies your complexion. It’s affordable and, in my opinion, a great dupe of Benefit’s Porefessional.
.
🎄Only 18 days to Christmas left! What is your favourite primer?

It’s day 3 of the 2019 Beauty Stars and today it’s about eye creams.
I have to be honest: I’m still looking for the perfect eye cream, but the @yeouthskincare Radiance Eye Gel was one of my best purchases regarding eye care. My dark circles are still here, but I notice they’re less deep. This gel also hydrates well the eye zone, which actually surprised me a lot, since this is a gel.
.
What is your favourite eye cream? Or are you still looking for the one?
