Thank you and Happy Birthday to @yourstruly.kmb for entrusting us to create a 12 in circular sign with a clear stand. She chose the textured gold vinyl as the background and an ocean blue front layer. Oh la la for her chosen color combination. It was sooo pretty!

I don’t know who this is for…BUT I was using transfer tape all wrong and spending too much time trying to lift the vinyl off until I saw a reel that showed a different tip.

When transferring the vinyl, here are three tips to follow:

1. Make sure you have the correct grid transfer tape for the vinyl. For example, yellow grids are super sticky and leave a film if used on anything other than glitter. Grey grids are for your holographic vinyls.

2. Barnish that vinyl with a squeegee several times with the felt tip and flat edge tip until vinyl is smooth.

3. Turn everything over showing the white surface and barnish again with your squeegee. Then peel the white backing off and Voilà you are ready to apply your vinyl to your product!

Growing is learning… DM or email to customize your shot glasses, tumblers, event signs, cake toppers, coasters, name plate settings, or gift tags.
