The conversation didn't end on September 24.

I'm still thinking about so much of what Suzy Welch shared with us at UConn, and apparently I'm still carrying the book around too.

Because questions about who we are, what we value, and what we want our lives and work to mean aren't questions you answer in one evening.

They deserve a little more time.

On October 14, we're continuing the conversation at WNG with Dr. Kelly Kennedy, who moderated our evening with Suzy so beautifully.

We'll go deeper into the ideas behind Becoming You: understanding what truly matters to us, recognizing where our values may be competing, and thinking more intentionally about the choices we make in our careers and our lives.

Because sometimes the next step isn't about doing more.
It's about getting clearer on who you are now, what matters most, and what you want to move toward.

If Suzy's conversation left you thinking, questioning, or wanting more, come back into the room with us.

20 women showed up for Coffee & Connections this morning. 🤩

Some were longtime WNG members. Some were newer to the community. And some had been following along for quite a while before deciding that today was the day to walk into the room.

What struck me most wasn’t the number. It was what I kept hearing from the women around the table.

They’re looking for connection.
For community.
For friendships and support.
For people they can grow alongside, both in business and in life.

I think so many of us are craving that right now.

That’s what I want WNG to be: a place where you can walk into a room, even if you don’t know anyone yet, and feel welcomed. A place to be known, build real relationships, and find your people.

So if you’ve been following WNG from the sidelines and wondering whether you should come, consider this your invitation.

Step into the room. We’ll be happy to see you when you get here.

Our next gathering is October 14 in New Canaan.

The conversation continues. And this time, we're going deeper.

Our evening with Suzy Welch opened up such an important conversation around purpose, values, meaningful work, and the choices we make as our lives and careers evolve.

On October 14th, we're taking the next step.

Dr. Kelly Kennedy, who moderated our conversation with Suzy, is joining WNG to take us deeper into the Values Bridge and help us move from simply identifying what matters to us to actually using those values in the decisions we're making every day.

Career changes. Leadership decisions. Growing a business. Navigating a transition. Rethinking what you want next. Or simply recognizing that something that once fit may not fit quite the same way anymore.

This will be a reflective, practical, interactive morning designed to help you leave with greater clarity around what matters to you and how to use that understanding moving forward.

We'll also be sharing a special opportunity for attendees to complete the Values Bridge assessment before we gather, so stay tuned for those details.

And whether you joined us for Suzy or are stepping into this conversation for the first time, you are absolutely welcome.

Wednesday, October 14
10:30 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
New Canaan, CT

We'd love to have you in the room.

What matters to you now?

Not five years ago. Not what you thought you should want. But now.

That’s the conversation we’re continuing at WNG on October 14 with Dr. Kelly Kennedy.

Kelly will take us deeper into the Values Bridge and help us explore how our values can become a practical guide for the decisions we’re making in our careers, businesses, leadership, transitions, and lives.

Whether you joined us for our evening with Suzy Welch or are coming into this conversation for the first time, you are absolutely welcome.

This is a conversation I've wanted to bring to our community for a long time. And this week, it's finally happening.

On Thursday, September 24, WNG is partnering with the UConn School of Business to welcome Suzy Welch to Stamford for an evening exploring purpose, values, and how understanding what matters most to us can shape the decisions we make in work and in life.

And the conversation won't end there.

On October 14, we'll bring it back to our WNG community at the Imagine Lab in New Canaan, where Dr. Kelly Kennedy, who is moderating Thursday's conversation with Suzy, will help us go deeper into the Values Bridge and what we can learn from our own results.

I love that this isn't simply a one-night event. It's an opportunity to listen, reflect, take what we learn, and continue the conversation together.

For the women in Fairfield County, Connecticut who are building businesses, navigating career changes, stepping into new chapters, or simply asking themselves what's next?, I hope you'll be part of it.

This is more than a conversation.

On September 24, we’re creating an evening designed to give you space to reflect, connect, and think differently about what comes next.

We’ll begin with values-based networking that moves beyond the usual “What do you do?” and invites more meaningful connection.

Then, we’ll come together for an inspiring conversation with Suzy Welch about purpose, values, and the decisions that shape our work and our lives — followed by an audience Q&A.
