Some experiences stay with you long after the event is over. Hosting @suzywelch at UConn Business Stamford was one of those experiences. 💙

As one of Suzy’s first cohort of Becoming You certified coaches, I have seen firsthand the power of helping recent grads understand themselves first (their values, strengths, aptitudes, and interests) before designing their career path.

On Thursday, Suzy brought that message of self-awareness, possibility, and HOPE to our UConn Business community. Her stories, honesty, and wisdom truly resonated with our students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community partners. Knowing yourself is the way to finding your place in the new world of work.

This semester, more than 800 UConn Business students completed the Values Bridge assessment. We’re excited to give our students tools that help them better understand who they are, where they can thrive, and how they can navigate an ever-changing workplace with greater intention.

Suzy, thank you for sharing your wisdom and your message of hope with us. We were so fortunate to have you at UConn. 💙

This is more than a conversation.

On September 24, we’re creating an evening designed to give you space to reflect, connect, and think differently about what comes next.

We’ll begin with values-based networking that moves beyond the usual “What do you do?” and invites more meaningful connection.

Then, we’ll come together for an inspiring conversation with Suzy Welch about purpose, values, and the decisions that shape our work and our lives — followed by an audience Q&A.

✨ Values-based networking
✨ In conversation with Suzy Welch
✨ Audience Q&A
✨ Light refreshments
✨ Free parking

Come ready to connect with others, explore what matters most to you, and leave with something new to think about.

📅 Thursday, September 24 | 5:30–7:30 PM
📍 GenRe Auditorium, UConn Stamford

Free to Attend. Registration Required.
