Still my favourite campsite ⛺️

After the 4 hour drive, it’s a 15 minutes short hike in and RM60 per hut rent. Basic toilet available. The highlight is definitely the waterfall.

Recommended to bring cash and tip a local to help carry your icebox and water to the campsite.

Setting tents in huts saves us from setting up ground sheet and fly sheet. I feel protected from the elements but we were also lucky to have great weather this round!

Grinded coffee beans and packed our own drip bags for quick and easy coffee. Happy to finally start using my 5 year old new hammock!

Food was so good!

Tikka masala lamb skewers
Mexico BBQ chicken chop
Taco & yoghurt chicken breast
Roasted potatoes
Roasted corn & mushroom
Mangos, mangosteen, and jackfruit
Apple cinnamon birthday cake
Indomee
Pancake with blueberry compote
Sausages with bread

Credit to Warren, YH & YW
Extra credit to Warren & Kit for washing up
Thanks for organizing, Claire!

📍Lata Penyel, 1 hour from Sungai Siput.
