Sometimes we are too busy chasing the things that we think would make us happy that we don’t take the time to appreciate what we have around us and what we have worked so hard for. Then when life takes it away, and you realise how much you’ve taken these things for granted. by @yuenwei42

Still my favourite campsite ⛺️

After the 4 hour drive, it’s a 15 minutes short hike in and RM60 per hut rent. Basic toilet available. The highlight is definitely the waterfall.

Recommended to bring cash and tip a local to help carry your icebox and water to the campsite.

Setting tents in huts saves us from setting up ground sheet and fly sheet. I feel protected from the elements but we were also lucky to have great weather this round!

Grinded coffee beans and packed our own drip bags for quick and easy coffee. Happy to finally start using my 5 year old new hammock!

Food was so good!

Tikka masala lamb skewers
Mexico BBQ chicken chop
Taco & yoghurt chicken breast
Roasted potatoes
Roasted corn & mushroom
Mangos, mangosteen, and jackfruit
Apple cinnamon birthday cake
Indomee
Pancake with blueberry compote
Sausages with bread

Extra credit to Warren & Kit for washing up
Thanks for organizing, Claire!

There is a certain freedom of being on 2 wheels in the heart of mother nature, so unapologetic, so freeing, so,,, accepting.. You feel every element, the heat of the engine, the sound of it screaming between your legs, the bumps and texture of the terrain below, the taste of crisp air and the smell unburnt fuel.

Every photo tells a story,
A portal to a moment, a memory,
A frozen piece of time, place, and people.

Good coffee, great people, priceless connections.

When people ask me why the infatuation with coffee, I used to not know how to respond, and I only realised recently it's because it connects people. It creates conversational threads and helps build a connection between complete strangers, that in on itself is very beautiful.
