I wanted to try summarizing what 2024 has been for me, but so much has happened that I could probably write a thesis about it, lol

I tried to condense it by choosing about one photo per month and pairing it with a word that holds meaning for me. If I had to assign a kanji to this year, it would definitely be 疲: exhaustion.

I’ve come out of it tired and worn out, despite all the wonderful experiences, the travels, and the amazing new people I’ve met. I’m grateful to everyone who’s been part of this year, both old and new; I’m hopeful that all the positivity planted this year is ready to sprout and maybe even bloom in the year ahead.

That said, I’m off to keep catching up on all the lost sleep from this year, lol

This autumn was unusually warm, and I made the most of it—hanging out with friends, enjoying delicious food, and traveling. ✈️ I finally visited Seoul for the first time since the pandemic, keeping a 10-year-old promise with one of my besties! 🥳

Oh, and guess what? I started driving again in Japan—what a win (and a bit of a thrill, lol). 🚗💨

November took me to Thailand for a colleague’s wedding, where I immersed myself in new experiences and a beautiful culture. 💃🌏

Looking back, this autumn feels like a fresh beginning—a reset before the new year kicks off. Let’s make 2024 the best yet! 💪✨

今年の秋はいつもより暖かくて、友達と遊んだり、美味しいものを食べたり、旅行したりと、全力で楽しみました！✈️ コロナ後初めてソウルにも行けて、10年来の親友との約束をついに果たしました！🥳

そして、なんと日本で運転を再開しました！これも私にとっては大きな挑戦（笑）。🚗💨

11月にはタイを訪れ、同僚の結婚式に参加。新しい文化に触れ、素晴らしい経験ができました。💃🌏

振り返ると、この秋は新たなスタートのような気がします。来年に向けての準備もバッチリ。2024年を最高の年にしましょう！💪✨
