Day79/100 The great Arthur Ashe said “Start where you are. Use what you have. Do what you can.” And that eight volumes to me. So here it is my first episode I called “Conversational Pace” where we tell story one mile at a time. And I had the honor to share a convo with a great brother @yungnooch we spoke on things on life transitioning family and running. It’s a bit long winded like this message though hey we talking and running at a #conversationalpace #runitup

The ADP 5k was one for the 📚. Was it my best feeling race this year? H*ll no😭 but I will say this run community makes these runs worthwhile. I’ll continue to smile through it all and continue to get better. It’s a MEDAL UP SUMMER ☀️ 🥇

Set a stretch goal to finish at a time that was unrealistic for me, I had never had ran that fast before, but not only did I finish at my goal, I also placed top 3 in a category for the first time in my life in a race!

So crazy to think I just started running last year and I’ve been able to make so much progress.

Whether it’s running 10 miles, a marathon, or even a 5K… I be getting tired yall during these races, but each and every time I call upon God to give me strength and endurance and he always gives it to me. Very thankful for him being there with me each and every step of the way.

Thank you to @jandaracing for hosting a great event and race for the Virginia Beach 10 Miler ☀️🙏🏽

Big love to everyone who lined up for the VB 10-Miler + 5K this morning! 🏆 Nothing fires us up more than seeing so many NERC faces out there putting in the work, chasing goals, and making race day count.

We had an absolute blast cheering you all on, loud & proud, throughout the course! Big shout to everyone who showed out to the epic cheer zone on 5th. Whether you raced, PR’d, finished strong, or simply showed up and got it done, that’s what it’s all about. With that being said, huge shout to
@therunlion for breaking tape with a course record in the 5k and @aaronmyers19 for 3rd OA in the 10-miler!!

We’ll be out & loud again tomorrow AM @ King Neptune for @wingsforlife! Let’s gooooo 🔥

I’m always grateful to do what I love, but this one hit different. Coming back and earning a medal from the same school I graduated from 3 years ago… that’s crazy. Having most my ppls there made it 10x better too.
PR day for us — proof that hard work really pays off. It may have just been a 5K, but this might be my favorite run yet. The growth doesn’t stop here, but moments like this are meant to be enjoyed.

Less than 1% of the population completes a marathon. I am
blessed to now have joined in that 1%.
January 2025 I couldn’t even run a mile straight.. March 2026 I completed my first 26.2 mile marathon.

397.3 miles ran from November- March in training for this.
I trained for months through rain, snow, sickness, and through the ups and downs of life.
The training isn’t what people see, but the race is.
Thank you Shamrock for allowing me to show it.

You can look at the many runs I did during training and think it was just my grind that got me here but it wasn’t.
Discipline and consistency is what got me prepared.
But what allowed be to finish was perseverance.

Remembering what has God said about me-

Hebrews 12:1 - Endure and run with perseverance the race marked out for me.

Philippians 4:13- I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

This was an accomplishment for me yes, a bucket list item for me that I thought I’d never be able to do, but all glory goes to the one I’m pointing to in the sky, because without him I am nothing at all.

This was the hardest thing I’ve done in my life, but as I crossed the finish line I’m smiling because not only am I eternally grateful that this mountain was moved, but I’m looking forward to moving the next mountain.

The Marathon Continues 🏁

26.2 MILES 🏃🏿💨

Most people only see the medal… they don’t see the miles nobody clapped for, the miles in silence where my thoughts were louder than my breathing, the moments I wanted to quit during training but didn’t.

This wasn’t just a marathon — this was a reminder that I can push past limits I once thought weren’t real. Grateful for the strength I didn’t know I had, and the grace that got me through. All glory to God. 🙏🏿

Somewhere around the later miles, it stopped being about running… and became about who I am when it gets hard.

No shortcuts. No excuses. Just ME vs ME.
26.2 miles later… I found out.

I’m built for this. 🦍
