As a young Black boy growing up, James Earl Jones was more than just an actor; he was a powerful symbol of strength, grace, and possibility. My first Black super hero! I saw myself in many of his films that defined my childhood—Star Wars, Lion King, Coming to America... Conan—where his unforgettable presence captured not only the screen but also my imagination. He brought a towering presence to everything he touched, from science fiction to timeless stories of royalty, and in doing so, he gave me—and countless others—a vision of what could be.

His poise, his unmatched stature, and that voice—his voice— nothing short of awe-inspiring. He gave life to characters that transcended the boundaries of race, class, or time. When he spoke, it was as though his words carried a sense of eternal wisdom, something we could all hold on to.

Though he may no longer walk among us, James Earl Jones will forever be with us. His legacy, his body of work, and the barriers he broke will continue to echo through generations. While we may say goodbye to a legend, his influence will live on in the hearts and dreams of those he touched.

Rest in power, James Earl Jones. You will always be our voice of strength and dignity.

The current count has about 4 mass shootings a week for 2022. We are disproportionately ahead of every developed country in the world. We have the same social media, TV shows, movies, music, video games, mental health issues, social issues... The only thing that seems different comes down to access to Firearms.

Do we have a problem?

Yes/No let us know in the comments down below... #Bars

Is there room to talk about this? Perhaps we should be asking people what are they thinking and praying for, because something isn't adding up.

If we were to look at this from the perspective of a negative behavioral cycle, then change will never happen. Why? Well to simplify things:

CHANGE = THOUGHTS + FEELINGS /PRAYERS X ACTION

Always with the thoughts and prayers, never with the action. You know... Faith AND works...

What do you think, what's your perspective? Let us know in the comments below.

If #jesussaves why do we have so many #christianswithguns 🤔

People making these types of comments must be part of that OTHER flock... Right?!? You'd be surprised how easy people forget that #jesussaves , start to lean unto their own understanding, and dismiss the humanity that is universally present in all of us.

Join us tomorrow as we discuss the trial and our role as Christians in all of this. Check us OUT live on FB and YouTube 930AM.
