Ahhhh the post I’ve been dreading since the first day of practice. Dear Baseball,
Thank you for everything you have given to me in these last 13 years. Thank you for giving me a constant source of joy after a long day of school. Even though the 8 am games weren’t always fun, thank you for letting me enjoy this sport always. Thank you for teaching me perseverance, dedication, attention to detail, and how to always have fun and smile.
To my family thank you for the constant support, the drives to and from practices and games, the countless hours spent after practices trying to get just that much better. Thank you for all the time and money spent whenever I needed( really just wanted) extra reps or a new bat or a new glove. Thank you for the constant supply of sunflower seeds in order to keep my mouth shut. To all my coaches, thank you for pushing me to try something new and pushing me to be my very best wherever I played.
Thank you baseball for absolutely everything.
