In April this year I completed a goal I made 5 years ago: Free climb the moonlight buttress 5.12+ in Zion. ✅. This was my second time on the route and it was really fun to do it over two days as a party of 3 with @claytonjshaw and @zackoyle. The 2nd picture shows me crossing the river, the 3rd picture shows the aftermath of me falling into the river with the haul bag on my back 😂. Luckily most of our gear stayed dry and we were still able to climb. I sent every pitch without falling over 2 days, and lead every crux pitch!

Feeling like I can’t lose today because I’ve been married to Zackary for 6 months! And though I’m at a Jonas Brothers concert and he’s on top of a mountain today, he is my home, my ground and my best friend. He celebrates the little things with me and encourages me to dream bigger

$2025 Mid-Season Update, Part 1: Climbing and Crashes Haven’t posted in a hot minute, but finally had some solid spring trips worth sharing! I kicked off the season with a 3-day weekend at Red Rocks, then spent a week split between Zion and Yosemite National Parks for spring break. Yosemite ended earlier than planned after I took a big fall while on the Crux pitch of Serenity Crack, straight onto my right leg. I ended up with a sprained ankle and a couple of microfractures in my foot. Note to self: slab falls are a much harder impact than overhangs and vert Finally healed up and easing back into full activity. You don’t realize how much you take movement for granted until you’re hopping on one leg in a cast just trying to get across the kitchen. Grateful for climbing partners like @zackoyle and @hyrum_flake who keep getting after it and helping me push limits.$
