Production Day Pt I

The concept for the first film is simple, put the new Fundamentals collection and our athlete somewhere unexpected and close it all with a surprising message.

So we headed into the dunes in Oregon.

We didn’t want a big set or a complicated production. Just the new pieces, a few props, and a well thought out idea of what we wanted in our final film.

Some shots were planned, a lot of them weren’t. We wanted to keep room for adjustment on location.

This is how the first part of the Fundamentals campaign came together.

The Opposite End: Production day

On location for the Fundamentals campaign. Keeping the plan loose by design, leaving room to make decisions on the fly and having fun along the way.

Expect the unexpected. Enjoy.

Full films coming soon.

Normally, you make the campaign, polish everything up, release the final films, then show a little behind the scenes after the fact.

For Fundamentals, we wanted to show you how it actually happened first.

The ideas, the locations, the stupid moments, the team, the gear, the adventure. The things we planned and the things we figured out when we got there.

Over the next three days, we’re pulling apart the making of our Fundamentals campaign before we release the finished films.

Fundamentals is live now.

Welcome to The Opposite End.

Going into our Fundamentals capsule we thought it might be interesting to share what really goes on during a shoot. What happens on the other side of the camera.

It’s a little known fact that Rbbsh was formed by a team of creative agency veterans. We create all of our content, and that gives us the rare opportunity to share what it really takes to develop a campaign.

Like all shoots, we’ve learned to expect the unexpected. Enjoy.

Such an honor to have played my first Tuesday night dance set @post82nashville. This place has a timeless energy and last Tuesday proved that it continues to hold the charm that hooked me when I first went over 3 years ago and keeps folks coming back week after week…The people that dedicate their time to keep it goin are special as well.

Thank you to everyone who came and took a few spins out on the floor. Lookin forward to the next time. Until then…

Keep Ramblin,
The Coastal Cowboy

This one was extra special. Our team had such a fun time working with our friends at @vicispro and collaborator Dillon Gabriel, to make this 2024 VICIS Visual Capsule come to life. More to come with this partnership.
