POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

One of the things about being a solo maker is that you need to have the ability to wear a variety of hats on a daily basis: Customer service in the predawn hours, making orders in the morning, designing in the afternoon, working on graphics over dinner, doing bookkeeping in the evening... I genuinely enjoy all of it.

But. The part I have historically been terrible at is actually releasing the things I make.

I will create a new design, make samples, test them, photograph everything, and then somehow manage to let it sit in the wings for months, if not longer. I think it’s because making is the part I love most, while the “selling” part has never come naturally to me.

So, this time around I am going to share our new designs a little differently. I have several new pieces waiting to be released, and I am putting together a big email update with all of them in one place and available for you to customize/order immediately.

I will eventually share everything here on social media, but if you want early access to the entire collection, sign up for our email list on our website.

Here’s just a little glimpse at one of the new designs I just made available in the shop:

✨ The Havoc Collar ✨ — shown here in Black Latigo leather with solid brass hardware and Volcano crystals.

I’m so happy I got to be apart of Chris Sykes seminar yesterday! It was so much fun talking with everyone and seeing everyones dogs progressing through the sessions.

Someone please let Gavi know that it’s not fair to all the other dogs to look this effortlessly majestic. 💅🏼

Thank you for all that we’re able to support us this past weekend with our early Black Friday sale. You are keeping my queue full and I look forward to working on each of your gorgeous orders.

I’ll be around to chat and throw around design ideas / answer any questions until December 1st. I’ll still be accepting orders through the month of December, but will be taking personal time away from the shop and will not be available via DMs or email until the new year. 🤍

WEEK 16: Lamp!
EXTRA CHALLENGE: One Click
Let's have a closer look at a light source we often overlook - a Lamp. This simple little device has so many forms - something classical like a hurricane lamp, or a modern desk lamp with an attached magnifier for detail work. Don't just take a snapshot, take a photograph that tells a story.

“The Guide”
I didn’t know how to get the image from my head into the camera this week, but I knew the first step was to recruit a MAGNIFICENT beastie for the job… enter Zambi, a six year old cane corso. 🤗 Dogmom Stephanie picked up a lantern and worked with Zambi on her hold, while I figured out how to best capture it. I wanted a warm nighttime glow, with just a kiss of extra light - executing my vision was much trial and error. 🤪 Where to place the light(s)? What power? How to modify them? Gels or not? I tried all sorts of things. Zambi did her job fabulously which allowed me to get a baseline in camera, but I have to admit the majority of this image was brought to life through the magic of photoshop. ✨😁 BTS & alts 👉🏻
