We’ve been wearing @zapware_ around the farm this season, and it’s become a quick favorite for long days outside. ZAPWARE is fashion forward bug protection made by hand in the Catskills, created by Becca after she couldn’t find gear that felt as good as it functioned.

We’re always happy to find something that makes spending more time outside a little easier.

This summer was honestly pretty garbage-y for a number of reasons, but I feel like late summer is filling my cup and things are looking up.

I was gifted this beautiful bug safe suit from @zapware_ and I've been living in it outside to protect from ticks as I soak up the last of the glorious summer moments ☀️ If you are looking for bug protection (and you should be because these ticks are gnarly), these are size inclusive (up to 3XL) and hand sewn by the loveliest babe (Becca). They're super queer and cute as heck and perfect in every way ⚡️

Big news! I’ve decided to leave Hudson, NY after 13 incredible years. I’m moving back to my beloved home state of New Hampshire. Writing this is both hard and thrilling. I plan to visit often and welcome anyone to the Granite State. I’m feeling sentimental about marking the end of such a big chapter.

While New Hampshire laid my foundation, Hudson taught me how to build and connect to the world around me. 13 years of bouncing around figuring out what makes me want to get out of bed each day. I’ve been a baker, sold antiques, arranged flowers, sold apples, waited tables, built pictures frames, assisted artist during their residencies, taught classes, cleaned, baby sat, sold textiles, beaded and sewn! So many incredible coworkers at each stop.

My community and friends made this place what it is, and I am so grateful to have spent my young adulthood here both very high highs and some of my lowest lows.

This is where I got sober and started learning to make better decisions for myself. So at last, I’m making a big leap in order to be able to spend more time focusing on my projects.

This wouldn’t be a lengthy Paige post without also acknowledging that without wealth or resources Hudson has become a hard place to live! So if you live here my parting wish is that you write to the Hudson Planning Committee and encourage them to support the Bliss Tower Redevelopment Project, ensuring that Hudson’s long term underserved residents can continue to live in this community safely, sooner than later.

Long live the beautiful city full of the finest neighbors and coworkers turned friends a girl could ask for. ILU 💗

Beat the Heat & Support Independent Businesses this Independence Day Weekend @ BFF Summer Market, kicking off tomorrow !

The Basilica offers a fully air conditioned place to gather with community all weekend long, our cement floors keep things grounded and cool. We have handicapped parking right across from the entrance if you or a loved one can’t be in the sun too long. & the Dining Hall in the West Wing has enough seating for you to relax indoors with a cool drink like a cocktail or lemonade or arnold palmer from the Basilica Bar or a freshly made and chilled juice from @alittlerico . There will be an especially comfortable lounge space made of all recycled materials installed by @fnfurn in the Main Hall. I recommend getting your hands on some clay w @cone.zero or maybe updating your summer wardrobe for something easy breezy, if you want to go full breeze maybe even strip down to your britches and pop on a @zapware ensemble, providing just enough coverage to protect from mosquito’s but allowing for maximum airflow:)
