I can’t believe our little one is going to become a big brother. 🤍

Lately, I’ve been thinking about how incredibly special it is to be the firstborn. You are the one who made us parents for the very first time. The first little face we stared at for hours, the first tiny hands we held, the first smile that completely melted us. With you, we experienced everything for the first time…the first steps, the first words, the first birthday, the first “I love you.” Every little milestone felt like a miracle because you were the one who taught us what it means to love a child.

As your parents, we gave you every bit of our time, our attention, our hearts… because we were learning you, and learning how to be a family. There is something so irreplaceable about being the first one.

And now, somehow, you’re not going to be our only little baby anymore. You’re going to be someone’s big brother. 🥹

It makes me emotional to think that while this new little miracle will be loved beyond words, you will always hold a place in our hearts that no one can ever take away. You made us a family first. You changed our lives first. You showed us a kind of love we didn’t even know existed.

And then comes this new little life…another tiny miracle we prayed for, hoped for, and already love so deeply. It’s incredible how a heart can make room for another baby without making the love for the first any smaller. Somehow, love just grows.

Every baby is a miracle. Every little life is a gift. But there is something so incredibly beautiful about watching your first baby become a big brother and realizing just how far we’ve come.

I can’t wait to watch you love, protect, teach, and grow alongside your little sibling. And I can’t wait to see the little boy who made us parents become the big brother who makes this new baby feel safe and loved.
