This past weekend I had the serendipitous chance to visit the studio of local artist Sarah Zeffiro @zartstudios, one of our many talented and influential Pittsburgh Creatives! Sarah is a multimedia artist as well as an Instructor and Program Director of Art Education in the College of Education and Social Work at @carlowuniversity. Together, Sarah and I (Adia) had a wonderful discussion about the power of leaning in to the unknown in art and life. Sarah’s passion for creativity and building community exudes in everything she does. It was a pleasure to learn more about her artistic process and see some of her work first hand. Sarah has some exciting things in the works, so be sure to give her a follow and visit her page on pittsburghcreatives.com, at the link in our bio! 🌸 #zartstudios #sickdaydesign #pittsburghcreatives #hirelocalprofessionals #supportlocalartists

What a thrill to design and art direct a 45x15” mural for Public Offering Brewery in Denver, Colorado. The mural is designed to compliment the brewery's brand, the Front Range, and beer foam. Thank you to brewery founder Cody Higgenbottom for the opportunity to design and to Denver based artist Marco Garcia who brought the design to life in paint. Public Offering brewery is a welcoming space for adults, kids, dogs, and good times. Next time you are in Denver please visit Public Offering to see the mural, have a beer, and meet a new friend. Does your home, office, or public space need art? DM or email sarah@zartstudios.xyz to learn more.

Please join us for A Decade of Service, a celebration honoring the Western Pennsylvania Diaper Bank on September 29, 5:30-8 pm with Mayor Ed Gainey and Sabrina Saunders Mosby. A Decade of Service shines a light on co-founders Phillip and Cathy Battle and the volunteers who have distributed over 5 million diapers to families in the community. Ticket sales include a chance to win the original painting “Alive" by Sarah Zeffiro. The painting Alive symbolizes the connections amongst the people who receive and provide vital Western Pa. Diaper Bank support services. It is a joy to share artwork that honors these connections. Thank you to Christina Bard and Morgan Bergman. Tickets and information https://lnkd.in/eRqBHvsb
