Cosmic Island Aperitivo by food and improvisation- artist Viki Lund and Team Paillette. We started a fantastic experiment: The guests brought the ingredients and Viki spontaniously transformed it into a deconstructed greek salad. Served in the KERKIS ECHO artspace Samos on a counter by artist Nevin Aladağ. Dancers in high heels left their footprints on the surface. Three weeks ago, we opened our doors at The Dean Munich. The night started with the smashing of sake barrels. At @ibashomunich, the chefs carved a whole tuna and served it course by course. After hours, @servusheidi came through with Bavarian specialities. The music was endless, from Irish import @mangodassle to @djjessicalouise - while @djaik and @tscheeelo kept the speakeasy dancing late into the night. @sofarsounds put on secret gigs in a room upstairs, with sets from @popcornmolecule, @caro_kelley, @victoryazsecret and @officellz. On the top floor, Gin71 poured martinis while @diezsaskia read tarot, and the karaoke went on far longer than anyone planned. Thank you to everyone who came through, and to the artists, DJs, chefs and partners who made the night what it was. Here’s to many more in our new home. 📸 @manuelnieberle @farouk858 🎥 @vincent.riszdorfer @davidkossi

Before I went to college to study Fine Arts, I was part of a youth art and curation collective called @kunstkiosk in my hometown, St. Gallen. In a tiny room, a former kiosk, we, a group of teenagers, got to experiment with art and exhibition-curation for the very first time in our lives. Young, clueless but highly motivated, we kept filling this little kiosk with new projects. Every opening turned into a happening and the space would fill up with visitors until the windows started fogging up from the condensation. When I moved away for my Bachelor’s degree, I left the group and a new generation took over. But Kunstkiosk kept going. And it’s still around today. About a year and a half ago, we formed a small project group made up of former and current members from different generations of Kunstkiosk. Our plan was to celebrate the 15 years anniversary of Kunstkiosk properly with a big exhibition. Having seen this project finally come to life in September, after such a long period of planning and organising, was incredibly special. Across three floors of the former Tiffany Night Club, 30 artistic positions are now on display, bringing together different generations, perspectives and stories from and around the Kunstkiosk. And now, sadly, the finissage is already around the corner. If you haven’t seen it yet, the exhibition is still open until Friday, October 9. Come by! 15 JAHRE KUNSTKIOSK - COMING OF AGE Organisation & curation: Jonathan Steiger (@jonathansteiger_), Nathalie Brückner (@natha_b04), Momoko Berthold (@emiliamomoko), Carol Müller (@carolmeunier), Irène Unholz (@cestpasirene), Sebastian Quast (@zaugq) and I, Miriam Schöb With works by: Akimsan Thambiah, Alice Bünger, Alina Rehsteiner, Anna Zimmermann, Carol Müller, Chiara Genova, Fabio Brehm, Fabio Costa, Felix Stöckle, Flavio Hodel, Irène Unholz, Janina Zünd, Jared Bühler, Jonathan Steiger, Kollektiv Tiffany, Linus Stiefel, Lisa Jordan, Luisa Zürcher, Malena Pout, Masha Rittgardt, Matti Felix Kasper, Mindaugas Matulis, Miriam Schöb, Momoko Berthold, Nathalie Brückner, Nina Schweizer, Raphael Reichert, Sebastian Quast, Seraina De Martin, Tanita Bürge, Tomàs Garcia Photos: @hamzaschweizer
