POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

From teammates to partners in purpose.

Long before we talked about nonprofits, leadership, or community development, we were just two kids from Asbury Park.

We met at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Monmouth County, played Pop Warner football, suited up for Asbury Park High School, and learned from coaches, teachers, and mentors who invested in us.

Today, we’re paying that investment forward.

I’m proud to announce that Isiah Jones, MPA is the inaugural ambassador of The ROAD Home’s H.E.R.O. Initiative (Hometown Equity Resource Officer).

Through classroom sponsorship, Project GRIO, writing and public speaking competitions, and career, education, and employment symposiums, we’re creating opportunities for the next generation.

This isn’t just about giving back.

It’s about building a movement where community leaders empower other community leaders.

Because the greatest investment we can make isn’t in buildings.

It’s in people.

We’re rebuilding our community—one scholar at a time.

🔥 SPRING ‘26 — THE RELENTLESS FORGE 🔥

The Monmouth & Ocean County National Pan-Hellenic Council proudly welcomes and celebrates the Spring 2026 line of the Zeta Epsilon Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc..

On Saturday, March 28, 2026, four men answered the call—emerging through fire, discipline, and purpose… crossing the burning sands into Alpha Land.

Introducing… THE RELENTLESS FORGE:

1️⃣ No. 1 – Casseus Clay
2️⃣ No. 2 – Koperanos
3️⃣ No. 3 – Johnson & Johnson
4️⃣ No. 4 – Daybalistic

Built, not born. Tested, not given.

This line embodies what it means to be forged—not just in tradition, but in commitment to something greater than self. Their journey reflects resilience, unity, and an unwavering dedication to service.

As a Council rooted in the mission of the Divine Nine, we celebrate not just their arrival—but the impact they are now called to make in our communities.

Welcome to Alpha Land, Brothers.
Now… let’s get to work.

Yesterday, my family and I laid my grandma to rest. We had a great home going for her. That woman deserves nothing but the best! Im happy that she was around to see 4 generations, her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren born and to be around them all. She was a quiet, calm lady. I can only dream of being as calm as she was. Lilly Mae Jones will forever live in my heart. Love u grandma. ♥️

Honoring MLK Day: A Day ON, Not Off

The Monmouth County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. proudly embraced the spirit of service and community this MLK Day.

✨ On Saturday, our members joined the Home Fire Campaign-MLK Day of Service in Asbury Park, working to make a difference and prioritize safety in our communities.

✨ Today, we had the privilege of attending the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Commemorative Community Celebration hosted by Pilgrim Baptist Church, Count Basie Center for the Arts-The Vogel, and the NJ Martin Luther King, Jr. Commission.

We were especially inspired to meet The Honorable Susan D. Wigenton, a trailblazing United States District Judge for the District of New Jersey and a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

Dr. King’s legacy reminds us of the power of service, justice, and collective action. Together, we continue to honor his dream through meaningful service and impactful community engagement.

My lil man didn't feel good today and had to leave school early. So, I made him some home made chicken noodle soup. 🤤
Soup is so good when it's cold out.
