Today is a special day as @imagineaplace launches, Design Your World, a children's book to inspire the next generation to discover design with equity and diversity in mind.

This heartwarming book shares the mission of IIDA's pipeline program of the same name (Design Your World), which aims to educate and inspire kids to see design as an accessible tool for both their life and career - and to make a positive impact on the world. A portion of the proceeds from each book directly supports IIDA's Design Your World program.

Follow the link in our bio to join us in supporting this important initiative - Let's inspire the next generation of interior designers and promote a more diverse and equitable world through design that works for everyone.

What a morning! 🙌🏾🎤 I was invited to speak about DEI at the Construction Executives Association monthly breakfast alongside my good friend, @joycheri. ✨ If you would’ve told me a year ago that I’d be speaking and presenting to hundreds of people (about a sensitive and personal subject), I would’ve laughed at you! Never say never! ❤️

S E R E N E G R E E N 💚
All the colors of the Deco Mango wallpaper collection are named after oceanic sea life. Turtle, a medium green color, is the name of the second hue. Designed by @ze_haus and printed by @bijoucoverings
.
This color also showcases silver highlights with undertones that read a pinch lavender.
.
Green is universally associated with nature, linked as it is to grass, plants and trees. It also represents growth and renewal, being the color of spring and rebirth.
.
Use this color in places to promote harmony and incorporate a sense of nature.
