When a @euroleague legend stops by Rennes 🔥

Rodrigue Beaubois has been a Striver for 10 years and benefits from the yearly @bandofstrivers follow-up. This time, he was able to join us in Rennes for a full assessment. And with us, « full » means something.

📊 Strength / power / cardio testing with @sebastien.j.morin

🩺 Complete physio check-up by @julien.chaillet.physio

⚙️ Isokinetic testing at Sport Med #

👟 Insole analysis and redesign with @podo.posturo.noumea

🏀 On-court work at @urb_off , who kindly opened their facilities to us, with @rebirthsport_rennes for pure performance

An athlete at this level isn’t managed in silos. Around him, we build an entire performance environment, with a common thread running between every expert so that every skill pulls in the same direction.

One goal: supporting the player at the level of his own standards.

10 years of trust. Band of Strivers. Same standard, same demand, same ambition. 💪

Pierwsze „budzi” układ nerwowy, a drugie wykorzystuje to pobudzenie, dzięki czemu skaczesz wyżej i rzucasz mocniej. To efekt PAPE (post-activation performance enhancement).

Na filmie 3 zestawy:

A2. CMJ z hantlami: dynamiczny wyskok z zamachem

🅱️ B1. Martwy ciąg z hex bar: ciężko, ale technicznie
B2. Box jump z siadu: czysta moc bez „oszukiwania” zamachem

©️ C1. Landmine press: siła wypychania jednorącz

💬 Robiłeś kiedyś trening kontrastowy? Daj znać w komentarzu!
📌 Zapisz, żeby nie zgubić, i wyślij ziomkowi z treningu!

👉🏻 Through our new partnership with @iusca__, we welcome Nicholas Ripley, PhD, to the Next Generation Performance International Conference 2027 as an IUSCA Guest Lecturer 🇬🇧.

The International Universities Strength and Conditioning Association is a non-profit organisation advancing education, research and professional standards in S&C. Alongside programme accreditation, professional qualifications and educational resources, it publishes the International Journal of Strength and Conditioning (IJSC), featuring insightful research with direct practical relevance for coaches and performance practitioners.

📍 Lecture title: Translating Hamstring Risk Profiles into High-Performance Training and Sports Medicine

@nj_ripley is a Lecturer in Strength & Conditioning at the The University of Salford. His applied experience includes work with British Lacrosse and Manchester United, combining academic research with the demands of professional and international sport. His research includes force assessment, performance monitoring and hamstring injury risk factors.

Nicholas joins our Sports Medicine block to examine clinical questions surrounding the hamstrings from the perspectives of both a coach and a scientist, connecting risk profiling with decisions in training and athlete care.

His contribution reflects the direction of NGPC2027: learning from practitioners who work every day in high-performance environments at the world’s leading clubs, sporting organisations and universities, and who translate scientific evidence into decisions that shape athlete development.

Following two sold-out editions, the largest sport performance event in Central and Eastern Europe returns to Kraków, bringing together Sports Science, Sports Medicine (including the sub-block Female Health & Performance), and Strength & Conditioning.

📍 Lecture title: Academy Performance Model: Aligning Daily Decisions with Long-Term Player Development

At one of the world’s leading football clubs, Darragh leads the design and integration of performance support across the academy pathway. His work connects coaching, sports science, strength and conditioning, medicine and performance analysis around a shared objective: preparing young players for the demands of professional football.

A sport scientist with experience across elite sports, Darragh focuses on translating complex data into applied football practice. His PhD thesis at the University of Technology Sydney was titled “Monitoring in Elite Youth Soccer: Describing Load, Reducing Data and Assessing its Relationship with Physical Fitness Outcomes”.

His contribution reflects the direction of NGPC2027: learning from practitioners who work every day in high-performance environments at the world’s leading clubs and sporting organisations, translating scientific evidence into decisions that shape athlete development.
