Had such a good time at @thehousepartyfest at the House Party Wellness Festival. The workouts, the people, the energy, the COMMUNITY 🤎 And going from a 12hr nursing shift straight into a fitness festival is actually crazy 😂 but it was so worth it. Tried some new workouts, met so many people and got to try @lifewaykefir Muscle Mates (protein + creatjne yogurt) for the first time 👀 definitely needed that after everything they put me through in those classes 😂 Fitness really is so much bigger than just changing your body. So if there’s an event or class you’ve been wanting to try… just go girl. And if you don’t want to go alone, tag me 😂 I might come with you. I pulled up at the @thehousepartyfest in Brooklyn prepared for an afternoon of culture, music, community and most of all fitness. If you saw the Aisecold team out there tag yourself! To see so much melanin under one roof, getting busy with group style classes on a Sunday was incredible. @zeusofqlf had a message that afternoon, and for me, it was mind body and soul alignment (with a live choir as the soundtrack to a group fitness class!) #tbt to @culturecon last year!! “take up space” my biggest takeaway was that entrepreneurship is spiritual. I really admired how @ciara and @tarajiphenson both emphasized their relationship with God when it came to betting on themselves and their success. It was a very timely time for me to be reminded of this🙏🏿 i love @culturecon @cultureconcollective and can’t wait to see what’s in store for this weekend.
