SO DIVINE: a Petri Dish called BURNING MAN 🔥Burning since 1994 (LEO) & 2008 (YFV)🔥
We dedicated our burn to a profound BEing & dearest friend BIG B —his family & tribe gathered for a BIBLICAL return to the dust- the ceremony started with epic sunbeams & cumulus clouds that slowly evolved into a massive wind storm as our procession traveled to the Temple - he was a “Dust to Dust” kinda guy after all 🙏

Life lately. It’s about to be my 41st birthday on monday and I tend to skip posting about it so we’re doing it today.

This year has been a wild ride. I’ve never loved what I do more and been more grateful for the people in my life.

This year has also been marked by the deepest forms of grief I have ever felt in my life, and I faced it. I felt it. I melted into a puddle on the floor with it but never questioned that I’d find shape again. This year I learned to trust myself.

I had the grand pleasure of taking care of my father a month before his passing and it was an honor of a lifetime to help him dissolve peacefully. This will be the first birthday I won’t get his call saying “we were so happy the day you came to live with us” and that feels like a hole in my heart that will never quite be filled the same.

He was a joyful and humble man in his heart of hearts and I’m so grateful I got to see his essence.

Love you Pops. Thank you for showing me how to show love unapologetically. Thank you for the love of music and never shying from telling me how proud you are. Thank you for listening to the same songs over and over so much that I can call on you just with a song.

Love you Daddy. And happy birthday to me (on Monday)❤️

Opening Night! 🎥✨

What a wild ride.

Just one month ago, @zeustopher was telling us about his dream for @thedrivein.gv . We broke ground on May 29th, and just one week later, we opened our doors.

This project would never have come to life without our incredible team, @fancy.grl24 and @brutalistmaximist , along with the 30–40 volunteers who generously gave their time, resources, skills, and hard work to make it happen.

What makes this so special is that it truly was a community effort—which is fitting, because community was one of the core ideas behind creating this space.

The Drive-In is about bringing people together. It’s about putting down our phones, connecting with one another, and stepping into a time and place many of us remember—and are still trying to recapture.

We can’t wait for more nights like this all summer long, and hopefully for many years to come.

I love you, Zeus, Allie, and Violet. ❤️

I know this is just the beginning of the rest of our lives. 🫶
