✨ CREATIVITY. CONNECTION. COMMUNITY. OWNERSHIP. ✨

What an AMAZING night at the @bushwickfilmfest x @creatricity Meet & Mingle Mixer! 🎬💫

There is something truly powerful about being in a room filled with talented, passionate, multi-hyphenate creatives connecting, sharing ideas, inspiring one another, and building community!

A HUGE shoutout to two phenomenal women, @cassiedamsel and @stephlillysmith, the visionary founders of @creatricity! 👏🏽❤️

What they are building is not just an organization — it’s a MOVEMENT! Empowering creatives to think beyond inspiration, build ownership, recognize their value, and turn their creative gifts into lasting opportunities.

As a designer, entrepreneur, author, script writer, and creative myself, I know how ESSENTIAL it is to have spaces like this where creatives are not only seen and heard but encouraged to OWN what they create!

If you’re a creative and you’re not part of @creatricity, you NEED to be! 💯

Thank you for a wonderful evening of meaningful connections, beautiful energy, and endless possibilities. This is what happens when @creatricity creates spaces for others Win! ❤️✨ it was a pleasure to meet so many beautiful and amazing people! @cassiedamsel @stephlillysmith @rajiahsan @tommiejmoore @sheilagraycollection @thesugaryman @kweighbaye and so many more wonderful creatives! @moxywilliamsburg #sheilagraycollection #bushwickfilmfestival #creativecommunity

Clips were played, convos were had, and some tea may or may not have been spilled about Season 3 of Besties!
Special love to @recordroom, who plays a little more than a background role this season. 🥂
And if you thought that was the tea… just wait and see. 👀🍿

BESTIES Season 3. We made it!

Everybody I love was in the room. We went back to where it all started with Seasons 1 and 2, then premiered Season 3 to a room full of laughter, love and people who have shown up for this series as they have since day one.

There’s a story behind how this season came to be. How the founder of Record Room helped create the pathway that ultimately led me to FOX. How leaders in the music industry showed up for BESTIES behind the scenes. One day, we’ll tell that story.

For now, we celebrate!

Thank you FOX Creator Studios for believing in BESTIES and believing in me. Thank you to every cast member, crew member, producer, writer, collaborator, friend and family member who helped us get here.

From a micro series on IGTV to Season 3 with FOX Creator Studios.

What a journey.

Meet Eric. He should be a lawyer by now, can’t pass the bar, loves his mama, and his best friend is a woman who dated the homie. It’s complicated.
