There are some places that remind you just how much there still is to see in this country. 🇺🇸 Lake Powell is definitely one of them. 🚤🏜️ Once you get out on the water, the whole experience changes. You're cruising across this massive blue lake with red-rock cliffs rising around you, and the farther you go, the more the landscape opens up into canyons and views you simply can't experience the same way from the road. That's one of the things I love most about traveling around America. Sometimes you have to turn off the highway, get away from the usual stops, and actually go explore. 🗺️ And sometimes… the highway happens to be made of water. 😂🚤 📍 Lake Powell • Utah/Arizona America isn't short on beautiful places. Sometimes we're just not looking in the right ones. 🇺🇸❤️ #LakePowell 🚤 #Utah 🏜️ #Arizona 🌵 #ExploreAmerica 🇺🇸 #AmericanWest

Great news for anyone planning to visit Zion today — the East Entrance is reopening Tuesday, October 6 at 9:00 AM following last week’s major rockslide. Visitors entering from the east will be able to: 🚗 Drive the Zion–Mount Carmel Highway 🚇 Travel through the large Zion-Mount Carmel Tunnel 📍 Continue to the Great Arch Overlook 📸 Stop at designated roadside pullouts to enjoy the scenery and take photos 🆓 Enter from the east at no charge ⚠️ Important: You will need to turn around at the Great Arch Overlook and exit back through the east side. The east entrance does NOT provide access to the main Zion Canyon or shuttle system. If you want to visit the main canyon, you’ll still need to enter through Springdale. 🚫 Canyoneering permits are also not being issued for canyons accessed from the Zion–Mount Carmel Highway at this time due to delayed emergency response. Kane County personnel will also be assisting with traffic management, patrols and emergency response. East Zion is open again — but please be patient, stay alert and follow all current park instructions. #ZionNationalPark #Zion #EastZion #ZionUtah #UtahTravel VisitZion ZionConcierge ZionCanyon SouthernUtah UtahAdventures

🏜️ SOUTH ZION TO EAST ZION Check out our @zionplanner # Take the scenic route through some of the most incredible landscapes around Zion National Park. Start on the south side of Zion, then make your way toward the east side along Highway 9. Stop at Canyon Overlook for one of Zion’s most iconic views, then continue through the towering sandstone cliffs of Checkerboard Mesa. Along the way, discover some of the area’s lesser-known petroglyph sites and experience a glimpse of the ancient history etched into the landscape. Please remember to admire rock art from a distance and never touch or disturb it. Continue to Zion Mountain Ranch, where you may spot their beautiful buffalo herd roaming across the property. 🦬 Then finish your day with a meal at Cordwood, the ranch’s farm-to-table restaurant, surrounded by the scenery of East Zion. 🌿 📍 South Zion → Canyon Overlook → Checkerboard Mesa → Petroglyphs → Zion Mountain Ranch → Cordwood A perfect way to experience a quieter, wilder side of Zion. ❤️ #ZionNationalPark #ZionUtah #EastZion #SouthZion ZionConcierge CanyonOverlook CheckerboardMesa ZionMountainRanch Cordwood UtahTravel VisitUta
