Are you a considerable person, considering who you might consider in this yeaar’s Grammys?
And have you considered who the devil might consider?
In the best rock categories, the nominees are usually names like NIN or St Vincent - great artists - but consider this: if the same names are always the most considered, is that really considered rock n roll? Is that really rebellion?
Consider what would truly rock by considering the underdogs.
You can always say the devil made you do it.

My soundtrack to Season 3 of Dead City is out today via @lakeshorerecords . I can honestly say that this was my favorite season we’ve done: from the story to the performances, and of course to the new musical doors that were opened. It was so much fun to be a one-man rock band for a lot of these tracks, tracking distorted bass & guitar, and drums. While also getting to collaborate with some amazing musicians like Kieran, Paul, and the Arnema Orchestra.

Thank you to my incredible music team for all of the effort & passion they put into this. And of course an enormous thank you to Seth, @jeffreydeanmorgan , @laurencohan , @scottmgimple & @amcplus for having me back for another round!

The season is now streaming on amc & the season finale airs this Sunday!

Out today for #bandcampfriday, my latest single in collaboration with @zlust. I’m ever grateful for her talents, time, and sincere and earnest vision. Zoë and I have spent the last two years sending many voice memos back and forth working through various structures of this song. We couldn’t have done it without @addabbosteve, who mixed and mastered it, and who was the steadying nudge to put the chord organ on the song. I also recorded the guitar with Steve @shelterislandsound.

I couldn’t have done this without the support of my friends and Patreon supporters. Thank you for keeping me going.

Thank you Zoë & Steve for your time, talents, dedication, and patience.

Thank you for listening! ✨🙏🎶

Hurricane- out Sept.4th, 2026- a collaboration between @zlust and myself.

I came up with the guitar part in spring of 2024, and over the last two years Zoë and I have had a lot of voice notes and video calls to get it just right.

This summer, in July of 2026, I went to @shelterislandsound to record guitars first, and then later in August, to mix with @addabbosteve. During the course of the day Steve had the brilliant idea of putting chord organ on the track, and we quickly recorded what I came up with, something that was the perfect choice, and I’m so glad Steve nudged the track in that direction.

The cover art is from an old painting of mine, that is much larger, created in 1998… you just never know where your art is going to take you, or wind up down the road.. Zoë and I decided it was the right fit for the song, and the flowers themselves kind of remind me of what hurricanes sometimes are depicted as on weather maps. (Thank you @ireneshapes for the idea to re-photograph the art and focus in on a few flowers. Sometimes we really do need a nudge here and there from our creative neighborhood, because music is, after all a neighborhood.)
